Enchant is truly one of the top progressive bands in the USA, and one of the best in the world, for songwriting skills and performance skills, very clean live interpretations of their songs.

It is so sad that prog rock in the USofA isn't nearly as appreciated as it is in Italy, England, Germany or France.

One thing that confuses me is how Bass when describing a Bass guitar is spelled, it's spelled the same way as bass, as in the fish, yet pronounced like "base"

I meant to say 97 in my previous post. They rock like no other band out there. And yeah, I too miss Paul's drumming, but when a member of a certain band no longer plays with said band that doesn't mean it's the end of the world and that the band won't be the same anymore. I still love the way they sound. Besides, Paul's contributions to the overall sound of the band were certainly not the same after the first three albums.

I came in contact with these guys in 87 and they practically made me believe that you can make great progressive rock without being technically amazing and show great emotion through intelligently written lyrics and just a great sense of how a band should sound like. They're simply amazing.

Doug and Ed are amazing and Paul Craddick is for me one of the most technically amazing drummers, I kind of stopped listening to them after he left - I miss the dynamics he brought to the overall sound of the band, 'East of Eden', 'Hostile World', 'The Lizard' and 'Traces' come to mind.
