Wan sifu demonstrate qi gong on this video but not wing chun, however the student who kicks him is using wing chun's front kick! The front kick from the ground to the target is one kick, it is somewhat differ from muay thai's front kick!
Also, Wan Sifu is showing how strong it can be a proper stance or any kind of proper stance should be keeping your spinal straight, not pushing your hips forward and lean back the upper body like other Wing Chun style, even other Shaolin's styles won't do it. Of course, this demonstration is very advanced for normal practicians. Please concentrate on Wan's Sifu's stance, how he stands with a straight body, like sitting on a chairs (no leaning forward or backward)
@yorkokinawankarate this is very, VERY true in wing chun. i study in the british branch of Wan sifu's teaching, and the point thats usualy made is if you compromise structure, youre going to get hurt.
he is showing them how to perform a stop kick that will break the opponent's structure. he also uses himself as the dummy because he has a developed iron shirt.
a very nice short clip of showing the effectivity of Wing Chun kicks and in this case against the groin which everybody can learn to "resist" with the right practise of Qi Gong and Wing Chun but mostly Qi Gong which is the energy flow in the body. Thumbs up for this wonderful demo!

This is not my art, but I think it is about structure, not muscular strength. Muscles should support structure, and are secondary to it
