a buddy of mine has a basset. and when he saw me for the first time, like all dogs, they get excited and start trying to figure you out by sniffing all around you. not moments later, i sat down on a couch, and the dog decides to rest his head and front paws on my lap. such a lap dog! lol he was very friendly right away!!
