  • Damn comment below knows what his saying..

  • Hi guys, might be a dumb qn, but how do i remove the db killer? I just got it this morning and still figuring out on how to remove it. Please help!

  • @arylsuerylski First remove the muffler and then remove the rubber plug on the end cap and then insert Allen-key in the hole and unscrew the bolt that holds the DB-killer.... good luck.

  • can u put a rear seat? thinkin of 600 or 1000 2008 and up

  • @supremo502 sure you can.. but which rearset ?

  • Thematch123....your smoking crack...goodluck with your 107 hp lil 600 your bike would be a small dot in my review mirror straight line or track

  • I was so scared you not going to rev it

  • Maybe $ 1,100

  • The system comes with db killer baffle that will make the system street legal

  • how much did you get the full system for?

  • I'm new to motorcycles, Is that particular exhaust system street legal?, and if it isn't do you think cops really know the difference between legal & illegal exhausts? Great bike BTW.

  • Sweet bike brother, ... I have exactly same CBR, mine is only silver =) that way I'm closer to the "ride the bullet". ;-)

  • GET RID OF THE STOCK REAR BLINKERS! AND UR BIKE IS PERFECT!!!

  • Arrow seems to be the standard for making real useable power on CBRs, 600 and 1000s.

  • @ormand3000

That is not true at all... just because TEN-KATE uses ARROW , it doesn't mean it is standard. Facts don't come by conclusions. Yes ARROW is a 1st class system, but average 1st class.

The only reason why Arrow is used a lot, because the company sells every replaceable part, even individual header if you wish.

  • My o4 600 will smoke ur ass any given day...

  • where did you buy the rear seat cowl/cover?

any info would be great thanks.

  • I would kill to have your bikes! It's beautiful

  • @VollgasHero

    Thank you Sir

  • m4 is way better

  • Akra makes nice stuff no dobt about it but everyone ive met that they have working there booths at trade shows are arrogant pricks and will tell your they are the aboslute best and everything else is shit. IMO akra and leo are damn near the same as far as dyno numbers

  • yes mate you have a Fireblade with an akrapovic on it wooooo hooooo

  • @deathchant999

Yes Sir.... Only the best ON the best for the best.... lol.

I only get Akra for my bikes, I trust it and love it, It maintains the top end power with a smooth over-all power curve, IMO Honda is known for its mid-range power and thats where Akra comes into play its best.

  • damn sweet bike....i got the same one but in silver and black! i am going to get a pipe soon but cant decide...i love yours!!

  • What is this supposed to be?

  • a walk around..

  • @easterboc1

This supposed to be like Tom Johns when he sings to adrenaline junkies

  • akrapovics the best.

    nice bike man

  • @madalpinestar

Yes Sir, it is as good as Alpinestar :)

  • that dude has obviously never owned an akrapovic. your sir are a man of good taste with the alpinestars akrapovic and honda.

  • @hondaridr

    Thanks champ... you're the man

  • @hondaridr.. don't forget AGV.

  • If money is the issue, then keep the stock pipe , cheap punk.

Better yet get your self a beat-scooter and put on it a fireblade sticker.

  • Hey jerk holes. The slip ons are all just slip ons. I have a two bros and for the money you cannot lose. $249.00 free shipping. Go spend more money and get nothing else but different sound. A full system may offer better performance but spend lots more money you will. This pipe sounds great. I wish we could get the whire CBR in the US. You limey bastards get better colors.

  • A cheap ass Jew Bros slip-on compared to a full Akro system and a tune ?

    LMAO - ignorance is bliss

  • nice bitch slappin

  • @dbtrackz33 Judging that honda put time and sweat into making a 1000 the best midrange litre bike, shows how much ignorance you have. So plz stfu and go back your little bitch 250 motorcycle and your garbage ass 350z.

  • You are retarded. Im not laughing at the Honda, Im laughing at the comparison between Jew Bros can and a full Akro system.

And I dont own or never have owned a 250R, dont know where you got that from.

Go jump off your bike faggot

  • i think he is referring to your videos buddy.

  • sorry i forgot to tell you what do you think of D&D as a sound ????? thnx

  • Hi there .... neat bike dude ... i have the same bike ... can you tell me -full system or slip-on (why) .... and what is the best exhaust for the slip-on and the full sys???? please ... i asked you this cuz i see that you have alot of information. ASAP

  • Just want to ask does it eat any oil when you really push it to the limit. Because my ZZR does it just a tiny bit when I push it really hard.

  • not at all

  • All good then. Its normal for bikes to eat a little oil because they work at such a high RPM's. By the way, not fan of Honda's at all even think that they shit, but your bird looks beautiful and as I saw on you vid super fast aswell. :)

  • Technology is science and there are no 2 ways in science, either good or bad, it should not be personal. Maybe at some point you had bad experience with Honda or Maybe you thought of it as sport team were you just want to hate it even it can be the best. I don't discriminate when it comes to bikes because at the end of the day its my money to spent, I'd rather spend it on what expert recommend it their reviews and this bike wan the best liter-bike 2 years back to back.

  • Dude how can you say it doesn't eat oil? I can see the blue smoke coming out when you rev it.

  • Very nice and clean sound. Ive been looking for a good exhaust for a honda cbr 1000 07 and this one sound great! now i have a question. AKRAPOVIC or TWO BROTHERS ?

  • Come on , you are comparing the absolute best to the worst. Akrapovic is the high tech systems that is molded by hydro-forming technology , Two brothers has good looking muffler but it has one of the worst designs when it comes to pipes, the freaking mid-pipe has an elbow and that's stupid because it creates negative back-pressure.

  • wrong question, just two choices of exhausts: akrapovic or yoshimura!! 2 bros is just loud, no performance @ all

  • Akrapovic is the best

  • I saw some blue smoke on the revs...oil burner?

  • I explained it in earlier post. The smoke is unburned fuel because the bike is not in the move were you suppose to get more air when you are.

  • Recalls for coolant hose and clutch assembly

  • great sound :O

  • man i have the same bike but still with the stock exhaust ...i bought this bike 2 weeks ago it has 2000 miles on it now .but there is very annoying tiking sound from the engine .. ididnt hear it in yours but i did in other fireblades ... do u know any thing about this sound ???? plsss tell if u know the solution ty

  • I think they all make a ticking sound to a certain degree, that's normal. There was a recall on the 2008 models, check with your dealer or ask the previous owner if your bike got fixed, other than that the bike should be ok.

    Good Luck

  • what was the recall about? i'm thinkin of gettin one of these in the spring. $7,200 on ebay! brand new!

  • ew..

  • Sexy

  • just been looking to buy a blade the same as yours sounds nice, think i will get it next weekend

  • omg nice sound ! very nice bike :)

  • Where was this vid shot at mate? A park in Zimbawae?

  • That is so beautiful!

  • Absolutely stunning.

    Honda fo life!

  • Thank you Sir

  • I wonder why honda got ride of the undertail exhaust for the side mount. I think that was too much refinement..

  • I liked the under-tale more than the side mounted ones. But there are 2 reasons why would Honda switched back... 1st, weight-saving. 2nd, less back pressure.

  • and heat!!!

  • hi im 6,1 and 150 would i fit on this bike? very good

  • I am 6'2".... I am not sure if you are 150 lbs or kg, but either way, you should be able to fit and enjoy it too.

  • hi ... im 5'7 and 185lbs would i fiy on this bike?

  • how much did you pay for that exhaust system

  • What a bike!

    What a sound!

    Cool!

I wish I had that bike, mine is only CBR 150R..

    :'(

  • 150 or 1000.... If its Honda then it is an excellent bike.

  • wow sounds awesome :D

  • did you block off your PAIR system? you are supposed to block your PAIR system when you install a fuel injection system. it will reduce the popping and flames on decel.

  • Yes I did... FYI, to install the block-of plates helps to get the right air/fuel ratio. The pair-mod is done by the manufacturer to foul the emission regulations. but you're right, it suppose to reduces the popping flames

  • If you are talking about the popping in this video, its because there is less air for the given mapped fuel. it supposed to be corrected if i was on the move, then the popping will stop

  • ya, im pretty sure nearly all bikes with Bazzaz will be running lean below 3000 rpms, since the bazzaz fi system only maps from 3k and up.

  • Well, Bazzaz or no Bazzaz... if you tune topend, you loose bottom end. Its like toothpaste tube, squeeze to move the paste from on end to the other makes you gain at one end and loose it at the other end. Thats why PC & BZ they neglect the low RPM calibration

  • The white and black looks good. It would go good with my Shoei rf-1000 camino helmet. Ride safe bro

  • sick bike

  • i guess you're an expert on BS.

  • awesome bike,

take care and all the best bro

  • You too, thanks

  • gorgeous bike, congrats.

  • Thank you Sir

  • hey let me ask you a question, did you get those plastics from ebay??? if ya did you install them yourself?? was it hard?? does everything line up does it fit right??

  • Never liked white Rockets, but it works on this bike! I love it! R1's Gixxers...etc but if ya wanna fly ya gotta have wings...HONDA!

  • definitely

  • 53 celsius air temperature???

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, but not direct sunlight though.

  • nice bike, but that rear fender should be swapped out :)

  • sicc bike, just needs a fender eliminator kit!

  • how hard was it to install? I just got my 09 cbr 1000 abs so I played it safe and had the dealer install my frame sliders and he said the fairings were hard as heck to put back on. I'd love to be able to install it myself, i looked at the instructions on the akra website and the exhaust itself doesn't look too bad, just reassembling the fairings lol.

  • I'd rather let a professional person do it and if u want, you can sit and watch the installation process, then take it from there. Fairings can be tricky, specially CBR bikes.

  • bella moto!!!

    commenta i miei video!!!

  • English please... but thanks for your comment what ever it is

  • Yeah CBR fairing are more fragile with the tabs a GSXR is the easiest to take apart...I'm looking at goin from my CBR600RR to the 1000RR

  • Fragile is not the right word, because when the bike falls on it side and any speed, that side of the fairing is gone no matter how big or little damage is. Besides, the whole set of aftermarket fairings are cheap.

About the difficulty of removing Honda fairings, it does take a long time. Also, if you never purchased a sport bike before, then keep in mind that fairings should be the least of your worries. just protect the chassis, the swinarm and perhaps the side exhaust by installing SLIDERS

  • now thats a bike

  • Thank you Sir... you certainly have a taste

  • holy sweet jesus...

  • que caño de escape tiene?

PD: imprsionante tu moto, me enamore de ella xD!

  • Gracia's amigo, mucho gracia's

  • sweet :)

  • god damn that sounds good man

  • Thank you sir

  • Do you feel a major difference with the full system as compared to stock????

cause im thinkin of getting a slip on but might go with the full system

  • You can call me Mr. full-system-head, I'd say go full but a good slip-on is not a bad idea for this bike specifically, because this bike has such a powerful thrust that big part of it is the back-pressure. There was an article about the 2008 CBR1KRR suggest not to replce the OEM exhaust system due to the engine power managment that partly relies on the original exhaust design which changinge the back pressure of the bike. My point is that slipon will give enough back pressure to maintain thrust

  • How dare you film that with your crap cell phone. Still got its parachute hanging off the back I see.

  • lol... those are palm trees my friend and apologies for the bad video quality. Btw, its a snap shut camera, not a cell phone.

  • does the lcd tell you what gear youre in?

  • The Gixxer is the only bike has a gear indicator. I do though have DIGI-TOOL gear indicator on my REPSOL, and I will install one soon on my 08, the gears are so dam close that you can't tell 3rd from 6th without paying good attention to the engine sound or rpm and speed gauge to roughly figure which gear you are in.

  • Best bike to date!! Just got mine a little over 2 weeks ago, but had to go with the Red/Black scheme. I guess Black/White is not available in the US. Either way, this bike is perfect in every aspect. Your exhaust sounds amazing on this bike, too. I'm ordering one this week, but between Akrapovic and Laser. Micron is no more and I had that on my F4i, and it was incredible. Keep the vids coming! I will eventually make some lol. Great choice

  • The best bike to date!! I just bought mine a little over 2 weeks ago, but I decided to go with the red/black. Supposedly they do not have the white and black paint scheme available in the US. That exhaust sounds perfect, too. Can't wait until it's broken in and able to be ridden the way it was meant to be. I was going to get a 2007 MV Agusta F4, but after riding this bike, the Honda is practically perfect. You either love or loathe the looks of it.

  • In no way am I knocking MV over Honda, but the MV was not a friendly bike unless you have the ability to appreciate it on the track regularly, as I noticed anything other than wringing its neck is harsh, especially slower around town stuff. However, I do plan on getting an MV later this year so I can have the best of both worlds I guess lol. Nevertheless, great choice of bike, man! I've owned 7 Hondas-quads, dirt bikes, street bikes and cars, and they are the best & most reliable bar none.

  • Stay away from the MV, I am very familiar with MV problems and risks... I'd recommend the new KTM-RC8, check out the new themes, it is as light as 08-blade and the weight is also centralized like Honda and it has a stubby face like Honda... with the advantages of V-twin 1190cc... they say its one of a kind.

  • Thats definitely good to know. What problems/risks are you referring to? Its hard for me to find information on the MV as they are not readily accessible like the Jap bikes, and its very hard to come across people who own them. I did see the new KTM but I am not a V-twin fan except the RC51, & I did get some solid info on the KTM that it has a very rough ride unless its being thrashed, as my riding varies from cruising to track days. Also it is KTMs 1st commercial bike which leaves room for bugs

  • Its not so much the MV isn't able to come across, its just rated very highly by every review but their arent the same quantity as other bikes. And I know Honda has a reputation and it stands up to everything I've ever put every one through. If you could explain about the MV it would definitely help as $25k-$120k on a bike is quite a bit. THANKS!

  • Thats what I thought, bugs per say, until my friend, who owned many KTM bikes, reminded me that the RC8 engine is the same engine in several of their models, its the LC8 with different bore mainly and also gave me the "KTM, PowerParts 2008" which for accessories, there are tons of aftermarket KTM genuine parts and goodies, I would buy it if i ware you

  • Good advice, the RC8 is one hell of a machine.... I love the CBR though, its a breeze to ride.

  • how could you possibly ride that thing in that kindof heat?

i got the very same bike at the start of july here in the uk(where it's much cooler) and the thing just about cooks me alive in anything but the coolest of days.

i'd be interested to hear from anyone else who has experienced this problem, as i've had many bikes including sportsbikes, but have never known any to generate this much heat.

  • US or UK version? I have a UK one and it is an ass burner and it gets over heated real quick

  • it's the uk.

hardly baking sunshine 24 hours a day but the heat is intolerable when the bike gets over 60 degrees.

why is it so bloody hot?

i'm getting really disillusioned because i can't enjoy the ride for the freakin radiator type heat thats rising from between my legs(pardon the pun).

  • Look at the bright side of it... Its actually a good male-birth-control when you fry your nuts.

  • 3ala rasi bs shako el AGV sticker.

  • O baji elvidoe ma3jebak yal-3etwi... Hathi sowalfik yal-yabani... lol

  • lol 7abeeb bs its a beautiful bike.. keep it neat :> dam ethroosi elle e7e66oon sticker ferrari..etc 3ala a differant brand vehicles :P

n' perhaps the real reason that im subconsciously an Arai guy :P

  • Wow man i'm next ;-)
