did you know that all the iphones have been underclocked, the new 3gs would normaly run at 667 mhz and overclocked at 887 mhz, the 1st gen and the 3g run at 400 mhz and can actualy run at 600 mhz

I just spent tons on the iPhone 3G and MacBookPro 15in 2.66Ghz in March 2009. Since they have both been upgraded with price reductions, I was feeling shafted until I saw you video. I needed that little pep talk.

PS- get the 32. That is what I would get but AT&T wants to charge $499 for the upgrade. I don't understand why. All I want is a new phone...I'm not cancelling and moving to another wireless carriers. IF you understand this, please explain.

I personally think you should get the 32 gigs. In the long run, double memory will make you happier. The apps are going to take up more memory, you can store more songs, and you can get higher quality videos/movies, possibly full HD, without blowing up your memory. If you got the money, get the 32gigs and be happier in the long run.

If you are new to at&t or renewing your contract, it's $199 or $299. If you already have a contract and don't need to renew (or if you have had at&t for less than a year) then it's $399 or $499 (I believe)

get a external drive and put your stuff on there so that way it won't get deleted if your computer fucks up. But if you get the 16gb you'll basically be getting that same thing that you got before but it'll be almost twice as much. The 32gb is very better if you don't want to get a external drive but if you'e going to be taking 2 3 GB of photos then i would put the on a external drive or laptop.

It is about $500 if you get the late upgrade.

I dont believe you can buy it retail, but there is an early upgrade that you can do like if your upgrade is a month or whatever away. The early upgrade is $499 for 32GB. So yeh.

Im so excited for the 3G S. It will be a revolution.

Whether are not the extra $100 or $200 on top of the $199 or $299 is worth it for iphone 3G owners is a matter of how much they value the 3GS features. I own the orignal iPhone while my cousin has the iPhone 3G. While im definitely goin for the 3GS, my cousin has decided to pass. Paying $400-$500 is a little much just to have video camera,compass, and faster processor. If only they had that front facing camera for video conferencing.....
