  • That's a good one! But --please-- post an english annotations!

    Thank you!

    5*

  • I've only seen demos of this midi-to-gameboy box using the GameBoy Color. Can it be used with the DMG?

  • The item is coming with hook up cable and an adapter to fit the cable

    with 1st generation Gameboy/Gameboy Color/Gameboy Advance Sp.

  • @PhatEmoKidd yes it can :) most people use it with the dmg

  • yeah except fruity loops is a terrible software when comparing to much better such as cubase and reason.

  • @eatmewhileimhhot if fl is bad then im a bad producer lol

  • @officialshintek I'm not saying that if you use the program your a bad producer or that if anyone who uses it is a bad producer, what im saying is that fruity loops isn't one of the best software for musical flexibility when comparing it to other bigger and more complex programs such as cubase, reason or even ableton.

no offense to anyone who read my last comment and got pissed, i dont think you are bad producers.

  • @eatmewhileimhhot lol man ill upload a beat of mine and I personally guarantee you will think reason and cubase are less than shit when you've heard it lol

its not the tool, its the dude usin it ;)

  • @officialshintek Your second sentence contradicts your first one...

  • @DamorahTalset No they dont,

    1st: FL Sucks= I Suck

2nd: Reason/Cubase sucks less when I use it.

result= Im awesome, and it doesnt contradict becouse FL is simply awesome.

  • @eatmewhileimhhot I disagree, FL is as good as the skill of the person using it allows it to be

  • I'd like to see you make music with FL away from your computer.

  • your a dumb ass FL is on a computer so how am i to sappost to make music if im "away from your computer"

  • Apparently, you're the dumbass here.

That was my EXACT FUCKING POINT, you nutsack! You CAN'T make music away from your computer because FL is for PCs!

LSDJ, on the other hand, was made for the GameBoy -- and it's meant to be a simple, portable music studio (with rather advanced possibilities for what it is). So, what I'm saying is that it was extremely silly of you to even bother mentioning a program for an advanced, stationary platform - let alone comparing the two.

    Get it now, dumbass?

  • hey guise what thx for pointing out the obvious you dumbass, guise what you cant use LSDJ with out a gameboy!

and you cant use FL with a out a computer!

    well DUHHH!

    fucking noob!

  • I have no idea what you're saying.

    Speak english.

  • shut up newfag you know what im saying. grow some balls

  • Newfag!? Oh, fuck me sideways.

Go back to 4chan where you and your fellow low-lives belong. You're obviously not the least bit mature, let alone normal. A fucking waste, I tell you.

  • Dude....you just said newfag.....you are a fucking queer :'D, im sorry but its so ironic that you think your amaising even though your a shitty little troll laughing to yourself that someone else has no balls....and you ATUALLY SAID 'newfag'.... you sir have made my day :D

  • actually you can run lsdj on an emulator.

  • @beepbeeprustrust the sounds generated by your pc will be very different to the native gameboy audio processor won't it though? It will just be the pc trying to recreate an approximation of it, theres no way it sounds as defined

  • Actually, the purpose here was to use the midi sounds from the gameboy in a song made somewhere else.

you said: "it's meant to be a simple, portable music studio", which for many, it is. For many others, it is one way for them to use old-school gameboy sounds in their modern compositions.

  • Yeah, I understand that it varies for people. How/why they use it, I mean. But I'm assuming it was the intention when the program was made. Why else would he make it for the GameBoy? He could just as likely release it for the PC and just emulate those sounds if he now liked it. Or just release a sample pack for any tracker. Yeah yeah, "feels more genuine". Sure. But at the same time, GameBoy music (for the games) was never made on actual GameBoys AFAIK.

But yeah, you have a point.

  • Using an emulator would obviously be completely pointless... might as well just bitcrush the sound of your choice in any given tracker to achieve a similar timbre, it wouldn't sound like a proper DMG in any case. Anyway, I thought the point with midi implementation was to Sync the damn thing to other gear, not control it as such. LSDJ is an excellent tracker, so I don't really see the point in using external sequencers.

  • If I knew I could do things like this with my gameboy when I was small, I would have conserved it. Nice tune.

  • Buy one off ebay and get started!

  • buy one, $30 dollars.

  • Well you have the tools! Nice

  • Fantastic!

  • Cool bomb xD

just a joke, nice video ^^

  • Is it me or does at 2:16 sound like it is better than half of what you hear in GB games?

  • OH FUCK YEA!!!!! bad ass

  • Call the fucking CIA, man this guys turning harmless GBCs into bombs!!! Little asian kid killers!!! JK LOL! Nice job!

  • awesome!

  • whats that silver thing for?

  • its a midi clock thing for syncing the gameboy with the korg thing

  • @AZURE8BIT: It's a bomb. Don't be fooled.

  • ITS NOT A BOMB! ooOOOOoooOOoo WHATS THIS BUTTON DO? CLICK BEEP BEEP BEEP WHAT THE FU-BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  • OH CRAP ITS A BOMB

  • hey this video is fucking sweet...

  • its in japanese, thats why.

  • dude!!!

    that was freaking awesome!!!

    XD!!!

  • wow

    that was amazing

    :D

  • Can this be used with nanoloop aswel or just lsdj? Either way its pretty awesome.

  • Thank you! It can be used with Nanoloop but function is limited only with midi sync mode.

  • Can the Electribe (or any MIDI device) control the input of each channel of LSDJ? Or can it only control a single channel at a time?

If this is the case, I would be interested in purchasing This Is Not A Bomb. How much would it be in British Pounds Stirling (including tax) and how much would it cost to ship to the UK?

  • How do i get my hands on one of these? either a schematic so i can build it myself, or a website where i can buy it

  • You can buy it directly from me, We 'Komakuya' selling it on our website, however we only have Japanese page at this point. If you would like to buy, let me know.

  • omfg that's amazing

  • Smashing :)
