I"m not sure who they are certified through, but most certifying agencies teach that you should insure that your class is safe and the only way to make sure that happens is to pay attention to them. I think that is the point people are trying to make. so please take it as constructive criticism and don't fall back on the poor excuse of someone being jealous. feedback is how we learn grow and become better. blessings :0)

I admit that many stray away from what is considered Zumba. But 30% of Zumba can step out of the format of Latin or International dance. Cumbia can have a hip hop feel to it and there is booty shaking, pelvic pumps and sexiness. That is Latin and Zumba with a fitness flare to it that is not aerobic dance looking you see so much in Zumba. People dance different so it does not have to look they same. The mature women is still shaking it better than many young women I have seen.  Thumbs up.

@abi1750 Yes, it's Zumba. You don't have to be doing some fake salsa crap to Shakira for it to be Zumba. Many of the basic moves can be worked with any type of music. I swear. You girls are really fast+ tight. I keep looking around for inspiration, and also to see how attendees of the class respond. I keep seeing a lot of people who can't keep up. Few cues, and lots of 'flash' for the camera. You guys are tremendous dancers. I just thought with that kind of talent, and 4 girls teaching, make one girl the 'beginner', one an 'intermediate', and another 'advanced'. Disperse instructors around the room, not just at the front, and show easier alternatives?
