dandy-walker named for the drs who discovered it is a genetic disorder my mother and son have it it is caused by a swelling of the fourth ventricle of the brain that does not allow the spinal fluid to drain off so it builds up on the front of the brain causing verying degrees of problems my mom walks like shes drunk and has seizures my son developed a tumor before any other symptoms presented so please have your children screened at birth your kids can develop it
