I got mine today. It's really a very well made phone. Android is nowhere near as friendly. You can really tell someone thought a long time about how things should work and how different functions should be integrated. It's growing on my by the minute!
This is a great update but they will kill the WebOS platform all together if they keep making releases too soon. Non-4G as we move into the 4g era, not utilizing screen space, lack of dynamic applications or front facing camera. Overall 2.0 is a great improvement though if their investing money into these phones they may run at a lost as Palm support base are typically the same customers or customers that will easily move towards other phones if their contract are offset and non-timely.
@eaturcrap its quite easy to judge the phone, if you havent use the OS. But trust me, its addictive and way better than android when you actually get your hands on a webOS device. And it will get better and better with webOS 2.0 =)
This will be a nice phone, I'm just sad the screen isnt VGA at least, though WebOS 2.0, Flash 10.1 and a 1ghz processor is a nice upgrade. I just hope Verizon markets the Pre 2 better... it got killed by the sea of Droids.
I think this will be Verizons competition to the Torch and frankly WebOS is much better than BB 6.0. Though BB's keyboards are better to type on.
yes, Palm needs to step It up, just like Nokia stepped It up wit the N8, Android & iphone remain on top, Blackberry tryna step It up wit the Torch & style wit the new OS 6.

@isabarriga palm dumped sprint for verizon so nooo but if u dont have the palm pre get that phone its amazing their basically the same phone but this phone has a couple new features

I find the Palm's QWERTY keyboard buttons to small, other wise it's a great phone!
