I was talking about the F-6, maybe you should read. PAF F-6 shot down indian mig-21 during 71 (not 73, i beg your pardon) war.

what made the F-6 lethal was the PAF modifcation which allowed it to fire American sidewinder missiles...and the deadly 23mm cannon. it held its own against many superior IAF aircrafts in 71.

if you want i can find you proof that an F-6 (mig19) of PAF shot down a mig-21....no problem at all for me

F-7P and other older aircrafts will be retired soon
