I saw this in Spanish (exchange student adventure that couldn't be passed up). They didn't turn the set. Instead you could only hear him, hear the gunshots, and watch Grantaire Fall to his knees in anguish. It was just as heartbreaking. Holy... askdjfaklsdf.

@mewrain That's what they did when I saw it on the anniversary tour. Because it was my first experiance of it, I watched it and was like, wait, no, they're not going to, no how can they? THEY KILLED HIM? NONONONONO:'(

@tokiwifyanorange Watching him die can be painful. but watching the reactions of him dying can be just as painful. <3
It also avoids the possibility of an awkward death scene if the Gavroche has trouble acting.

IKR? I had a bunch of classmates with me when I saw this as it was a class trip, and everyone in the theater started laughing and CLAPPING when he died but me and my friends!
