  • still....YAWN.......... GET A BUSA.

  • In my opinion the S-1 is the most desirable bike. Harley power, sports handling

  • Where is a good website for performance parts for a Buell S-1? I have a 98.

  • how much does it cost that bike??

  • Yah, some bikes go very fast but honestly. When can you do 200 mph. Question here is, how quick can you get there and these buells might bless your rice burners with enough time to read there rear plate, but, probably not. Mostly you'll get to hear them in the distance. Now there are several bikes that can over take them in the long haul but in the short. 1/8th mile or so. You should just observe or get served :)

  • not being a dick, but it sounds just like every other run of the mill harley v-twin

  • You are not being a dick, the need for this much attention shows everyone that you must not got much love from your parents when you were young. Please don't make everyone else suffer because you are needy. Trust me nobody really wants to hear it, put a can back on it make it quiet and gain some class. You will actually get respect.

  • ok, if I thought you had any sense, I would make a worthwhile reply back... yep, nothing. Just what do you ride, my friend? Having a screen name of "themaxrider" you must ride something pretty great.

  • Well I have enough sense to know that loud pipes are nothing more then crying for attention just like a child. Nobody wants to hear it.. I know if you don't have power you think you have to make noise to compensate. Not smart at all. You ask what bikes I ride, well lets just say I ride bikes that have over twice the output of this bike, and they make not even half as much noise wide open! See I am not a needy person, I ride to enjoy the bike and the road, not to try in vain to get looks.

  • ok, you didn't even mention what bike(s) you ride. Twice the power output, huh? I, myself, ride a K9 Hayabusa. My bike is very loud, but I don't do it to get attention. I do it because I personally ride a loud bike better. I can hear it a lot better, which helps with blurping the throttle for downshifts, and also makes taking off from a dead stop smoother.

  • One of my bikes is a Busa as well. And I run full HMF system which isn't loud til I am really on it, other then that its pretty darn quiet. See I can hear mine as I have a really quiet helmet. I don't want ANY negative attention it ruins it for all of us. I have owned and rode nearly every sportbike out there, I have been lucky to be able to do this. I try to help with good advice as I hate to see people fall into crap like this and think its nice when its so far from nice its not even funny.

  • Well, in my honest opinion, I think people appreciate a loud bike that sounds GOOD. Unless a harley, or Buell, has a cam or some sort of motor work, they all seem to sound the same. So, yeah, people for sure get sick of hearing them. A Busa, or any other sport bike for that matter, sounds pretty damn good doing 190mph with open headers.

  • ANY sportbike besides a Buell sounds pretty damn good no matter what pipe they run. The Thing is with a sportbike is that it isn't around long enough to be loud. Its gone as fast as it comes. You harley people are so damn slow they linger on and on and on. Sounds like a fart in a distance. Is that that some sort of mating call or what the hell

  • LOL Ohio. Backwoods hillbilly!

  • thats because it has a 1.2 V-twin H-D engine...

  • wats the can you using

  • did you do anything to the exhaust?

  • yea its a strait pipe and can without any baffles

  • Buell S1 powwaaa : great !
