It's because of KOTOR I and II that I hate the Jedi now. I hate the Jedi Order because they're hypocrites, liars and lazy asses. They don't know emotion, and yet Revan uses positive emotions to augment his own powers, like the Sith use anger to feed their power. The Jedi just sit there in the Council chambers and don't even help out the galaxy. They're "guardians of peace and justice throughout the galaxy," yet they don't aid the Republic in the Mandalorian Wars.

Wretched hardrive cannot play my X-Box games without downloading it from X-Box Live.. I refuse to pay for Live, so I dwell in fury. I wish to crush the life out of the Microsoft corp. with the power of the dark side until they succumb to giving it to me for free, or sending me a hardrive that WILL be orginial X-Box games playable.

Last but not least T3 I turned Evil lol

The discovery that came shortly after the confrontation made me go all: "What the hell?!" Never expected that plot twist. It was and still is a great, great game.

i prefer the kotor series to the normal series and but i don't prefer kotor to star wars the clone wars series i like the star wars 3 game i was going to get it then i found out they had transformers dark of the moon fore sale at big w so i got that but i kicking my self now cause i finished the game in one hour cause there is only like 5 level in the whole game i they are not even worth it cause the game is just too easy to play unless you have Xbox live your better of getting star wars Lego 3

What an awesome game! One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Malak is totally badass, even more so than Vader. Vader never destroyed an entire planet just because he felt like it.

@andrian007 Erm Alderaan, although that was more for political purposes rather than "oh well I'm just feeling evil today" xD But he did, he had a respected founding world of the Galactic Republic blown into pieces. As for Malak, he bombed the shit out of Taris to kill Bastila and Dantooine to muder the Jedi he needed in oder to fuel his power through the Dark Forge, but never destroyed them, his fleet simply could't, it was just orbital bombardment.

@pitythecripple In terms of how Star Wars relates to the history of many great nations on Earth and story, KOTOR I and II were two of the best Star Wars games I've played. Bioware and LucasArts were creative in developing a game where you're making your own choices in society and doing what you can to support or destroy it.

obisidan is planning on doing kotor 3 apart from biowares mmo if lucas arts will grant them permission, there is also a pettition that everyone who wants to play a kotor 3 should sign, look it up.

@Dracomancer350 Sort of. Bioware is going to create an MMO called Star Wars: The Old Republic. From what I've seen it's pretty good for an MMO, but compared to KOTOR 1 and 2 it doesn't really seem to do be in the same league. Of course, that's just my opinion. Personally, I REALLY want to see Bioware, Obsidian, or someone create a a third KOTOR that's actually a real RPG for XBOX 360 and PS3. If someone doesn't, I will create an idea for the game and drop the papers on George Lucas's doorstep.
This is one of those games that would do perectly without an excellent soundtrack. However, the soundtrack made it twice as good, in my humble opinion.
Revan never fell to the dark side.. The Jedi did not even destroy him. They merely stripped away the outer Sith shell he had put on for so many years, and allowed his true self to emerge once more.
Revan, in his true darkness, saw the value of destroying the Star Forge.

Ahh, then you have not seen the truth. Revan chose the dark side; he did not fall. He willingly embraced it as a solution to save the galaxy, something Malak did not see. Revan had tasted the dark side long before Malak was seduced by it's power into something far worse.

Kotor canon is retconned constantly, for now Revan thought dark side as an means to an end. Perhaps the canon twistes it around again and it's revealed that Revan was in truth possessed by Nago Sadow's spirit or something.
Revan's real identity is something that interests me. After all in Kotor comics issue 42 it was revealed that he assumed identity of "Revan" after he saw the vision of mandalorians slaughtering cathars on their homeworld, much like Alek changed his name to Malak.
@Ruosteinenknight I recall, vaguely, Kreia telling us that Revan had purposely allowed himself to fall to the dark side, in order to root out the true Sith. In that sense, Revan had commited something of a self-sacrifice.
Yep, been feeling this way about Revan for a while now. Hopefully the Revan book goes into detail on this. Malak was no where near as cunning as Revan.

Sidous' motivations were power, and revenge, Revan on the other hand wanted to save the the Republic from itself, he thought that only if he took the reins and militarised the Republic, could it be saved from the True SIth Empire. Malak did not fall because of someone he loved, his was a case of pure ambition at the end, and at the beginning he did believe he was saving the Galaxy. Both had more altruistic motives than Vader and Palpatine. Anakin was just a selfish swine
I bet anything since no one actually knows what happened to Revan when he became good and went looking for the Sith to defeat the Emperor that he found the emperor, defeated him and is now the leader of the Sith Empire.
@Finchy000 "The old rebuplic" canon says that Sith Emperor is Revan's sith master and one who tasked him and Malak to find the star forge to weaken republic for true sith invasion. Emperor himself is rumored to be one of the Sith form time of Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh. He did find out later Naga Sadow spirit and "Secured" him so that he wouldn't interfere his plans.
Whether actually there's been coup d'etat and by who...well everything is possible.
One of my favorite themes, coincidentally for one of my favorite characters in the game :D. Such a shame that there wasn't an original soundtrack released for this game.
@CountTambor21 You didn't fight Nihilus in his prime, in fact, you fought him at his weakest... Maybe ur jus good, the first time I versed Malak, I'd made my character all wrong and I could not beat him.
@CountTambor21 I think that Malak could have tougher, but he was still a decent end battle. Nihilus on the other hand should have been the final battle of KOTOR 2 and should have been MUCH tougher. I mean why doesn't he just drain the life out of Mandalore? Mandalore has no way to resist Nihilus's power! And why didn't Nihilus use his superior power to sever Visas's connection to the Force, severing her Force bond to him? Then Nihilus could just drain the life out of her. It would just be you.
@RevanSTARKiller47 As a would in the force Nihilus basically NEEDED Visas' bond. She was his link to what he hungered for. Had she not had a bond to him one could speculate his hunger would have not only controlled him, but literally consumed him.

It was corroded already, but he didn't want to die. However, the armor would have probably been corroded without a chance too, had he cut off his connection to the force. I am, of course, only theorizing this. To make a perfect statement it would have to be proven already in cannon.

@MainHeretic Bioware nor Obsidian can't go and do it with out lucas arts permission. License, you see. All changes or stories to Star wars: Expanded Universe must go trough George lucas. Because of this Yoda's species name or origins have never been revealed. Lucas has blocked all the attempts to do so.
Oh how I miss KotOR. Such nostalgia when I hear this one.

What an awesome game! One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Malak is totally badass, even more so than Vader. Vader never destroyed an entire planet just because he felt like it.

@andrian007 Erm Alderaan, although that was more for political purposes rather than "oh well I'm just feeling evil today" xD But he did, he had a respected founding world of the Galactic Republic blown into pieces. As for Malak, he bombed the shit out of Taris to kill Bastila and Dantooine to muder the Jedi he needed in oder to fuel his power through the Dark Forge, but never destroyed them, his fleet simply could't, it was just orbital bombardment.

@pitythecripple In terms of how Star Wars relates to the history of many great nations on Earth and story, KOTOR I and II were two of the best Star Wars games I've played. Bioware and LucasArts were creative in developing a game where you're making your own choices in society and doing what you can to support or destroy it.

obisidan is planning on doing kotor 3 apart from biowares mmo if lucas arts will grant them permission, there is also a pettition that everyone who wants to play a kotor 3 should sign, look it up.

@Dracomancer350 its not confirmed yet, although bioware is making the mmo which they claim to be kotor 3,4,5,6,7,8,9, etc it would still be nice to instead of just hear of what happens to revan and the exile to play it, there is a petition you should sign it could help, and obisidan has stated that if lucas arts lets them , they would be willing to make kotor 3 so im hoping lots of people sign the petition and it happens xD

@Dracomancer350 Sort of. Bioware is going to create an MMO called Star Wars: The Old Republic. From what I've seen it's pretty good for an MMO, but compared to KOTOR 1 and 2 it doesn't really seem to do be in the same league. Of course, that's just my opinion. Personally, I REALLY want to see Bioware, Obsidian, or someone create a a third KOTOR that's actually a real RPG for XBOX 360 and PS3. If someone doesn't, I will create an idea for the game and drop the papers on George Lucas's doorstep.

This is one of those games that would do perectly without an excellent soundtrack. However, the soundtrack made it twice as good, in my humble opinion.

Revan never fell to the dark side.. The Jedi did not even destroy him. They merely stripped away the outer Sith shell he had put on for so many years, and allowed his true self to emerge once more.
Revan, in his true darkness, saw the value of destroying the Star Forge.

Ahh, then you have not seen the truth. Revan chose the dark side; he did not fall. He willingly embraced it as a solution to save the galaxy, something Malak did not see. Revan had tasted the dark side long before Malak was seduced by it's power into something far worse.

Kotor canon is retconned constantly, for now Revan thought dark side as an means to an end. Perhaps the canon twistes it around again and it's revealed that Revan was in truth possessed by Nago Sadow's spirit or something.
Revan's real identity is something that interests me. After all in Kotor comics issue 42 it was revealed that he assumed identity of "Revan" after he saw the vision of mandalorians slaughtering cathars on their homeworld, much like Alek changed his name to Malak.

@Ruosteinenknight I recall, vaguely, Kreia telling us that Revan had purposely allowed himself to fall to the dark side, in order to root out the true Sith. In that sense, Revan had commited something of a self-sacrifice.

Sidous' motivations were power, and revenge, Revan on the other hand wanted to save the the Republic from itself, he thought that only if he took the reins and militarised the Republic, could it be saved from the True SIth Empire. Malak did not fall because of someone he loved, his was a case of pure ambition at the end, and at the beginning he did believe he was saving the Galaxy. Both had more altruistic motives than Vader and Palpatine. Anakin was just a selfish swine

I bet anything since no one actually knows what happened to Revan when he became good and went looking for the Sith to defeat the Emperor that he found the emperor, defeated him and is now the leader of the Sith Empire.

@Finchy000 "The old rebuplic" canon says that Sith Emperor is Revan's sith master and one who tasked him and Malak to find the star forge to weaken republic for true sith invasion. Emperor himself is rumored to be one of the Sith form time of Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh. He did find out later Naga Sadow spirit and "Secured" him so that he wouldn't interfere his plans.
Whether actually there's been coup d'etat and by who...well everything is possible.

@CountTambor21 I think that Malak could have tougher, but he was still a decent end battle. Nihilus on the other hand should have been the final battle of KOTOR 2 and should have been MUCH tougher. I mean why doesn't he just drain the life out of Mandalore? Mandalore has no way to resist Nihilus's power! And why didn't Nihilus use his superior power to sever Visas's connection to the Force, severing her Force bond to him? Then Nihilus could just drain the life out of her. It would just be you.

@RevanSTARKiller47 As a would in the force Nihilus basically NEEDED Visas' bond. She was his link to what he hungered for. Had she not had a bond to him one could speculate his hunger would have not only controlled him, but literally consumed him.

@ransac16 I know what you're talking about. That was a PREVENTION to what I was refering to. He did it to stop it from literally consuming his body. It was corroded already, but he didn't want to die. However, the armor would have probably been corroded without a chance too, had he cut off his connection to the force. I am, of course, only theorizing this. To make a perfect statement it would have to be proven already in cannon.

I would make a KotOR 3 game if I ran BioWare or Obsidian. Screw the MMO.
Make it a two-parter. The first segment where you play as the Exile searching for Revan, and the second where you play AS Revan.

@MainHeretic Bioware nor Obsidian can't go and do it with out lucas arts permission. License, you see. All changes or stories to Star wars: Expanded Universe must go trough George lucas. Because of this Yoda's species name or origins have never been revealed. Lucas has blocked all the attempts to do so.
