  • Guys, I've seen both sides of the fence on this and believe me a theory isn't worth risking your enternal life on, if you were to be correct what would be the best case scenario for you? Nothing because accoring to you, you would cease to exist but if you are wrong you will spend eternity in Hell. We are all guilty of sin, everyone has told a lie before or stolen something and your lack of belief won't change the fact that you will go before God on judgement day

  • @Jhughey22 Over simplistic... If you spend your life cattering to a religion you are still going to hell if you pick the wrong one... according to most variations of religion! On the other hand religion can lead you to live a life of hardships without reward and even get you killed. So Pascal's wager you're using there simply doesn't describe the situation at all.

  • @Jhughey22 intolerance and those who would bend religion to suite their purpose Ie: neo cons, islamic fanatics, the vatican, the state of israel, Indian upperclasses.

  • Oh well I still see monkeys, and with all the population in the world, to base all your believes in one hideous skeleton, who maybe belong to a person with some kind of disfiguration or most probably was altered by the money hungry scientists who wants to keep their grants coming.

  • Its the best we have as of now...50 yrs from now there will be an archeological find that completly over turns the present prevelant theory...thats science.

  • Yes "How close are Scientist to once for all say" this is the human spark!"...seriously? I love PBS and I must say I'll watch this, why not. Perhaps and I'll laugh a little...

  • Yes! This is a must-see.

  • I can't wait to watch this. I love Alan Alda as the host of shows. I'm pleasantly surprised that the female narrator in this preview video as well as Alan Alda correctly pronounce "Neanderthal" as "NeanderTAWL" and not the erroneous "NeanderTHAWL".

  • Agree, whehen one views a 5 foot 5 male ancient hominid like NeanderTHAL the word NeanderTALL somehow just doesn't fit. XD

Yeah, keep it the way it WAS.

  • I definitely going to watch this.

  • It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

    Carl Sagan

Read em and weep, we can be spiritual without a God.

  • What makes us human, um GOD created us and this world. Stupid evolution bs.

  • You dont believe in evolution, yet Im sure youre aware that evolution has been proven in the flu virus. They keep having to change the formula everytime to keep up with evolution. This years h1n1 vaccine wont keep you immune from next years spread cause it will have evolved by then. There are many different races of human and thats the proof of evolution in humans. Youre just an other brainwashed uneducated American. If you really believe in God then stop using a computer and live As TheAmish Do

  • @DualCorePower You have no idea what you're talking about. There is far more evidence for evolution than there is for the existence of God. There is *no* empirical evidence for the existence of deities. None.

  • @agentm83 You're right, agentm83. It is not God that created Man, but rather Man that created God.

  • @agentm83 Deities and "gods" were never meant to be thought of as "persons" or worshiped. They were simply ways to explain ideas and attributes of some power. However as far as a Source or what some may call God, even science for the most part agrees at least with the possibility. We do know that some sort of energy sustains all life and we are all connected. A Source of some sort is implied. Science and religions both need to get past their dogmas and "beliefs".

  • Aristotle's experiments made people believe that larger objects fall faster than smaller objects for 2000 years.

how wrong he was.. just food for thought

  • @9sAND1s He was not wrong... but...absolutly right....

  • God & science can go hand in hand. No where does it read HOW man was created from the dust.

    Everything is "star dust".

Evolution is change, genetic change within breeding populations and sometimes mutations occur.

  • @PantheraAtrox God is God and Evolution is another religion from Satan. They are not hand in hand. God made science, he owns it and gives it to whom he wants. You cannot believe in both because you either love one and despise the other. The science community is just a puppet of the devil. A true scientist will only get to the conclusion that there is an intelligent designer and that he made it all and sustain it all.

  • Yes, we are an accident.
