No person should be forced to give up evidence against themselves. Period. Its a constitutional issue. Where the heck are the judges in all of these instances. These laws should have been kicked the day the first case came to trial. Where is the aclu? Everyone is against drunk driving and prosecution of such violations, but at what cost? The man was courteous and friendly and the police had no reason to suspect that he would be violent towards them. They should have just taken him a way to a holding cell and used the refusal against him in court as evidence of guilt.
