@superjasonconnolly Predators are like us in many various ways. They hunt because it's their entertainment as like our entertainment is to watch TV. They also have respect levels much like humans do. If a human wins in battle against a Predator, the other companions give them a artifact, mostly ancient and of sentimental value to the Predator race. They fight fair too. Let's say a human had a sword, they would use wristblades and guns they would use their plasma caster. Predators are remarkable.

@Zcrazy123 dude that would be epic yet it would require a new set of controls it will require the climbing of a alien yet the speed of a predator or even the agility of one also the developers would need a new set of stealth kills... basically they might save it to the next game which i can gurarentee they will make. @Rolfchoppa007 Actually it basically be a predator without the weapons and it would use the same attack form as an alien plus The predalien is a Praetorian in other words it doesn't climb walls and it would be very damage resistant thanks to its thick exoskeleton plus it will have the predators jumping ability.

@Zcrazy123 oh yes it can climb walls on the part where you first spot him in refinery but yeah all you did just there is reword the whole thing i just said. They need new programing they have a differebnt physic a different posture and what they can do is to an unlimited jump marker so it can climb meaning you have to go to focus mode target a wall and then leap to get it. Also praetorian is basically an aged xenomorph thats all so its weight would render him incapable to climb

@Rolfchoppa007 A praetorian is NOT an aged XENOMORPH A PRAETORIAN IS A YOUNG QUEEN that guards the current queen. And the predalien is a Praetorian and yes the Praetorian's now that i recall can SCALE walls but not like how Warriors and drones can. now a Warrior can molt into a praetorian but the most common way a praetorian is born is by use of a praetorian facehugger. if you don't believe me check Xenopedia

@Rolfchoppa007 you said it a warrior can molt into a praetorian so it is an aged xenomorph yet i already knew it protects the queen yet aging takes ours a dome like the one in the original alien did grew to lets say teenager age in like what 3 hours of them checking each floor. But xenopedia i wrote at least one page of information back in Early 010. Another comment you just posted is hypocritical one minute not aged xeno next minute a warror can molt (age) into a praetorian.

@Rolfchoppa007 What i meant was that A Warrior can Molt into a queen but it Doesn't normally happen The warrior must Ingest royal jelly to Induce the molt into praetorian normally A praetorian is born of a royal facehugger in which the chest burster that emerges from the host matures strait into a praetorian.

The reason number six turned into a praetorian was because their was no other Alien in the area (the ship) The Xenomorph in ALIEN would have gone through the same molt in as well in time.

You can kill the Predalien only just with the wristblade on Nightmare, I posted videos with the Predator Campaign on Nightmare, if you watch them you'll see that against the Predalien I use the wristblade only for the final blow when it's health is almost zero, it would be too hard otherwise.

spam stealth killing, walltailing and plasma caster, and also the utter inferiority of the alien species is a major drawback on this game. Plus, they weren't too original with the singleplayers.

@Serephus I didn't find the aliens that weak! I actually liked their stealth, and the mechanics of running across walls and ceilings, that was very well done. Smashing lights, sneaking up on enemys from above, and infesting them with a face hugger was very fun. The aliens tail has great range and power.

The key is to be patient, and pick the marines off one by one. I did feel the hiss (meant to lure the enemy away) was kind of useless, though.

@TheJamesrocket the problem is that the alien's abilities areeither very overpowered or very underpowered; the walltail is impossible to counter, and their speed allows them to simply run around you and stealth kill you before you can pick them off. Everything else about them is weaker than the predators, and stealth is rendered useless by the marines ridiculously powerful flashlight, and the motion tracker that sees BEHIND you.

@Serephus I never found their flashlights a problem. I made sure to get every bit of mileage I could from my wall crawling ability, I never made direct attacks, always from behind or above, and never on a group of soldiers. As for the motion trackers, the best way to circumvent them is to use a short burst of superspeed, and then lay still, alternating between the two.

@TheJamesrocket by the time your bursts of sprint allow you to reach the marine, hes going to know the direction your coming from, and if he is any good, he will be blocking by that point. A good way to counteract this weakness would be pouncing, which has a good long range, however for some idiotic reason, they made the alien so weak that its pounce doesnt even stagger u; where as the predator's KNOCKS you down.

@Serephus If he's start to run around then I just usually walk around the same way he's spinning and hit grab. You can't argue that one species is better then another because seriously it's about preference. I'm best as an Alien and I always find it confusing when people say Predators are better close up because honestly in a 1 on 1 head to head fight as an alien with a predator I usually find it pretty...Well, not difficult. And for marines usually a heavy attack will do it.

@skullkid325 a 1v1 alien vs predator, in which both are the same skill level and have had equal experience with the game, the predator will undoubtedly win. Why? because one wrong move with the alien and the predator can knock it down and at that point there is no hope for the alien; it also takes about 3 lights and a heavy to kill a pred, whereas for the pred it only takes 2 lights and a heavy to kill an alien. The only way for the alien 2 win is to SPAM heavy attack or walltail.

@Serephus I almost always win head to head against a predator. For starters all you have to do uis hit heavy a little earlier then when you reach him and you'll generally hit firstand they generally don't jump in time. But all this is redunant since the Alien is not designed to go head to head everytime anyway. The aliens advantage is it's speed and the fact it can see the enemy through objects. It's easy as hell to sneak up on a Predator on almost every map, and then it's just a case of tap X.
