inspiring music. realy motivation and good emotions in this with power and little bit of scariness. when i look at your piano roll i think to myself holy shit.. this is so time consuming...... :) but worth it.. this is so good.. good job :) keep it up!
The track is a bit hard to follow, I've listened many times. it is a great piece and I really like the effect it gives, it jsut lacks a certain flow to it.
@lepape2 Ok, so I have litteraly listened to this track for over 20 times now, and I really like what you did with the strings, do you have any tracks of just symphonic work? like without the extra electronic soundeffects.
Yes, the "One Winged Angel" remake I did a while back is on my channel. There are 2 versions (Blue(Original) and Violet(vocals)). "Halo's Main Theme Remake" I also suggest is there as well.
great work but FL is bloated. I left FL behind since it won't even address the major basic function issues it has before forging ahead with more features no one really needs.
Proof that if in the right hands - FL Studio is king. FL studio will be taking over as the universal DAW in most studio's in a couple years, I guarantee it. Not only is it easy as hell to use, it's got the best GUI, extremely easy to navigate, Fairly gentle on PC usage, You get Native instruments Komplete 8 + a Motif XF or Kronos and you're going to be making some EPIC music if you know how to...
To all the FL haters - It's not what you use, but how you use it. FL is taking over!
On a serious note, Seeing you have such tallent, Pretty please, can you make a tutorial video talking about and showing what we need to make a good movie score?
Stuff like, "piano is great for leading into a more tender side, bla bla" or "Trumpets are good at this level because bla bla... :( I know how to work with FL Studio but I usualy end up looking at it like a moron, not knowing how to start. Individual little songs, Im good at it, but complex composing I suck really bad :(
this is friggin AMAZING, do you study music? for how long? should i learn music theory? lol, keep up the great tracks, you've inspired me to keep practicing! thank you!~
No I don't study music nor have any advanced music theory. A good ear and fertile creativity is all it takes. Give it time, practice and emphasise on what you can do better - don't be afraid of critics! No one has yet asked me a music contract so I guess I'm not good enough for the moment still.
How goes the modern warfare song? the midi was useful for u?This is very good. And is this in E? Cause my friends and me say tha most of the music is en E
Nope, im in the middle of an exam period and I don't really have to time to work on it. I gave your MIDI a listen with the instruments I had but I will redo everything from scratch like I'm used to if you don't mind. Gives a fresh perspective and helps inspiration. The key is alright too.
@lepape2 OK thats the only thing that i want to know.Dont Worry 1st the school then the videos. And if you want to begin again dotn worry.I know that sometimes is better that you make the things. But with the midi i think you jump a step. And i wasnt interested tah u used mi mid. From some reason it has a lot of erros like the blan space after the song.
I REALLY like the VST or whatever you used for that chimey sound, that was really awesome. Excellent work for this is a grand masterpiece. I love the use of all the instruments such as Guitar, Strings and Piano. Hahah I wish I could do stuff like this in FLS but anyways, GREAT JOB! =D
Never thought I could when I first started. Trust me, you will if you want, just give it time and practice and you will be making music you never dreamed of trying to do. As for the chimey sound, its actually 3 different very complex PAD patches together... they eat up 40% of my CPU and its a quad 2.4. Hurts like hell when you want more and more content and you come to the point where creativity is ultimately not the defining factor in what you can create.
How do you get your mixes so clear ?

@lepape2 What plugin do you use for orchestral strings?

EastWestSamples' EWQL Symphonic Orchestra - Gold. Its not cheap but worth it if you already have composing experience.
