It only improved the very top end, say the last 1,000 rpm or so. Low end was noticably worse but I have just solved that by a rebuild that includes nearly 11:1 compression. should be running in a few weeks.
@insideriverside No car. OE-ish fuel injection. Gutted plenumn, turbo injectiors/software, stock NA maps, 60mm T/B. Been driving the 11:1 engine for a month or so. Feels like another 20ft-lbs or so. Can't rev it out yet till its all broken in. 5k is the limit for another few hundred miles
How would you say it breathes before and after the bigger cams?
