I think caroline is a ploy and is still working with katherine, katherine didnt just turn her for fun and as a distraction, there is a real purpose. Sort of like the film SCREAM when you didnt expect who the real killer woUld be. Because before caroline converted she was insecure, jealous and these feeling become intensified when u become a vampire and we ddint see her dealing with those feelings, so i think she still acting so she can get among the TVD team to get the info to give back to kat

I got my uncle hooked on this show. When I was showing him the first season (from the dvd) he didn't really like Caroline. Now his top two favourite episodes are when Caroline becomes a vampire (S02E02), and when Caroline saves Stefan and Damon from being killed by her mom. He like Caroline more than Elena. He forgets Caroline's name sometime (maybe on purpose), because love to call her "Vampire Barbie".

I think they made the right choice for turning Caroline into a vampire. She's so much more self-confident and less whiny, I guess. She seems to act more human when she is a vampire than she did when she really was a human. There's more depth now than there had been before. Also, I agree that I miss Anna like crazy. Lastly, I think that when/if Matt finds out that Caroline is a vamp, he might understand why she pushed him away. Then they will get back together. Hopefully.

What bugs me is that they should have switched actresses so that Caroline's actress played Elena and Elena's played Caroline (though I doubt Nina could do a popular girl type.) Caroline's actress certainly does a good job and is reminiscent of Elena from the books. I actually like Caroline as a vampire and AGAIN reminds me of when Elena turned into one in the book...same vibe/character.
