Yes Republicans care about the life of the unborn.....and believe in equal rights for ALL and not special rights for those who choose to partner with someone of the same gender. As for the rest of your comment, it seems to me that heterosexual couples are the only ones enjoying "special rights" with regard to marriage. Over half of the women getting abortions in this country do it precisely because it's in the best interest of their children - the ones they already had and are currently caring for, that is. Think about that.
Since you completely missed the point of my previous comment, I'll state it another way: I believe that keeping a woman chained to a forced cycle of reproduction is worse than terminating a fetus whose viability is always questionable. Ugly business; not a simple issue.
