An alternative method is to download the app switcher command plugin through activator and set it to swipe in from bottom or whatever you like. I've set in to tap and hold status bar. Less intrusive imo.

Nice tweak. The only problem is when I try to change the volume on music it slides me to the other app. Could you make it not to work the switch app on music in the heigh where the volume is? Would be very useful.

Card switcher never worked for me.

I use Zephyr to swipe any app away (excluding biteSMS, for now) or to enable switcher instead of physically pressing the home button which I got fed up of recently :P

Was waiting for a tweak like this. Now I couldn't live without it.

Okay, I installed app on iphone 4s, but there is one big problem. When you have just few apps running, like settings and messages, swipe from right side will switch you to "field test" app! Can you turn that off or provide option to disable switch to this app? you know, its not showing when you swipe from bottom, and if there would be, I would close it too.

Works good and is awesome, the normal Multi Tasking Gesture was not enabled with iOS 5.0+? Cuz I added it when I jailbroke my iPhone 4, and it didn't work at all, anyways, awesome tweak määän!

hey, this is a great tweak but I've noticed that there's a problem with accidental opening of app switcher. when typing on keyboard, when I slide from "numbers" button, I accidentally open app switcher and that's annoying. is there any solution? Thanks.

When I saw the problem with the keyboard, I deleted zephyr. It must've been that new version came out. I didn't know for this extra options. Thanks :D

@bcldvd In iOS 5.x.x, you can activate "AssistiveTouch (already implemented in the settings app)", to simulate a home button press by touching the square that comes up after activation. You should give it a try, especially when you barely use apps to play games.

I have killbackground installed and whenever I press the kill all apps button in switcher, it crashes after installing zephyr... So please fix that... Other than that, great app!!

that tweak is bad becuase he needs to make that in settings we will choose how much fingers we want to use for gestures and he can also make a remainder bar at the bottomlike in OS X

Also, if Im playing something in Landscape (again, think Fruit Ninja) would the gestures switch as well? Would I now swipe length wise to change apps (and would the next app orient landscape on its own if possible?

Make it two fingers.. with just one finger it might affect some apps.. (though I haven't tested this) but there are not that much apps that require using two fingers from the edges, while a lot require one finger sweeping (even in the photo viewer, if you were to swipe from a side with one finger to change the photo, you'd switch apps)

@Lordamum4d Yes I know. Though it's not a "proper" gesture but at least it works for me way before Zephyr. Not to take credits away from chpwn, his tweak really feels native to iOS. Point is, if not for Activator (and free) I might pay to get Zephyr, no doubt.

Thanks to Zephyr, I can finally access my multitasking bar with ease! No longer do I have to inconvenience myself by moving my finger 1/4 of an inch lower to double click the clunky home button.
