  • toca igual homem porra !

  • this is the first time I've seen such a guitar.. a steel string classical guitar..what model is it?

  • steel strings on a classical guitar is not good for it you know?

it sounds good, but they do to much force in guitar's arm ;)

  • @jaimohpQ You are right! But this guitar was built for steel strings and the load they put on the instrument. The intent was to have a guitar that could most accurately produce the style and timbre of the Brazilian music of the era, which included steel strings. It has been very successful, and the guitar is as solid as the day it was new after 3 years..

  • @DFPMusic oh ok than xD nice :P

  • Wonderful

  • EXCELLENT!!

    LONF LIFE MY FRIEND!!!

  • Bello!!

  • And however, even if reiss did it with steel strings, he was the compositor, and he surely knew how to do it better than this...

  • It doesn't sound good with steel steel strings, it's a waltz, and they don't give the correct feeling, plus, he made a lot of mistakes...

  • Can't get that sound on electric. Brilliant.

    Many thanks.

  • Nice Job!!!! Congratuilation!!!!

Sr Leonardo made it for steel. It is exactly like his nylon concert guitars, (fan braces, tie block bridge) but heavier and has two "balsamo" strips in the neck to reinforce it. Also the correct size rollers on the tuners, the proper compensation for steel, and a little "golpeador" strip behind the bridge to protect the top when changing strings. The strings were martins for this recording. I have since changed to Elixer nanoweb, "10"s. I change the third to a plain.

  • Yo David! Nice to hear you again. Now - was that guitar built for nylon, or is it a hybrid? And what steel strings are you using on it? Curiosity killed the cat. It's beautiful to hear you play Reis again... thanks.

  • That is quite fine! I was completely taken by surprise to hear suddenly the timbre of steel strings... from this guitar. Live and learn.

  • I am regret to say that he made himself too 'free' with tempo and his slurs came with lots of unwanted "eez". Another thing is that, perhaps because of steel strings, the melody didn't get flowing.

  • well, Reis music is very prone to tempo freedom, specially this one

  • Everybody has an opinion.

  • lindo!

  • great! conglatulations the realy brasilian Guitar song!! Conglatulations Brazil for much talents.

  • MY FUNERAL SONG !!!

  • yeah .. great !!

  • are those steel strings????

  • Yes! It is in keeping with that era in Brazil. Dilermando played steel strings as did many of the other guitarists of the period.

  • Interesting tone. I like it! :-)

    Nice playing!

  • I didn't know he used steel strings. Barrios did.

  • that is not dilermando

  • That sounds really good!

    5 stars!

  • Thanks, Julie! I'm sure David J. will appreciate that comment. The Reis research has been a big part of his life.
