@lsd4kush That's actually really easy. I've never used a bomb or lost a life on this particular attack.

I'm not saying that I'm skilled, though (simply put, I generally suck at this type of game), but you can easily create a safespot during the beginning of the attack where you can safely stay put. I got really lucky and found this out on my first encounter with this spell.

Awesome runthrough. For Spiriting Away, try luring down first, then go to the very right middle of the screen, then move to the middle left after she's aimed her burst, and then move down and shoot her, and then move right after she's aimed her burst, etc etc. This effectively gives you the most time and you can finish the spell fairly quickly without trouble ;)

Not quite either. The final state before the 30 seconds mark is static with respect to Yukari. The final state at the 30 seconds mark has the final wave of bullets (the butterflies) aimed at you. I wasn't right, but you weren't spot on either.

Not everybody is a composer. For most people, a song being "catchy" or "majestic" is enough. And given how music and every other piece of art is frequently associated with emotions and such, I don't really find it wrong to speak in such term. For us mortals that is.

Besides, have you ever heard a scientist or an engineer talk in "tecno-babble" language? Is boring as hell. Geeking about music like that would have the same effect. Only Touhou geekiness is allowed in my vids =v

The reason for your "bomb" being lazy is because Extra and above stage bosses have their hitboxes disappear during a bomb within a spell card.

I found out about this whole series during mid-March. I began playing and slowly and slowly got more used to seeing impossibility hit the screen. I do enjoy seeing your work on these games and hope to see you do the UFO Extra and the one for 10 Desires (when it comes out).

I made the mistake of picking Mokou as my first EX fight. (given it was the only game I could 1cc Normal in at the time.) IN will always be my favorite because of that god-sent called Spell Practice. =)

I can't help but feel her Boundary of Life and Death card is specifically referring to the fact that she's going to kill you, thus crossing the boundary.

The Danmaku Bounded Field, however, it feels like Yukari is saying "Fine, don't die. I'll make the next few moments of your life a living hell." The fact that she stops when you bomb and halts the timer when you die or bomb helps that feeling.

Danmaku is, practically, what you see in all the video: Lost of bullets that, incrediblu, have a pattern. Some are extremelly hard to avoid, others are pretty easy, but in this case ( a boss fight), they are normally hard.

Most of your bombs don't move much since Yukari disappears if you bomb her during her spellcards, so the orbs have nothing to target and just float around you. Bombing works on her non-spellcards, just like for any Extra boss, so the orbs will slam into her then.

Using Reimu A strikes me as a bit...masochistic, though. My first successful run was with Marisa A, and I imagine I'd have a horrific time with anyone else. Danmaku is all about power, ya know? Still, you finished with a life and a few bombs ahead of me, so maybe I should keep my mouth shut?

I'll respectfully disagree on the music front. Necro-Fantasy blows both versions of Necrofantasia out of the water IMO.

danmaku literally means "barrage" or "bullet curtain", but can also mean bullet hell, so I guess it's a matter of how you translate it, really.

@OzixiThrill Actually, the term Bullet-Hell Hell does in fact work. It sounds weird, but makes logical sense. Bullet-Hell is a collective and proper noun, therefore, can still have adjectives. as weird as it is to repeat a word, there are sensible sentences that use the word "had" 3 times in a row. Had i had had that, i wouldn't have had a problem.

I have heard that all of Yukari's spell card and Danmaku bullet, wasn't herself who dp it but it like an automatic program that shoot on it own.

It like she just cast it out and let's it be.

The last spell also seem like she don't want to cast anyspell anymore. She took some powerful boarder spell, cough Reimu in there and waiting for the result.

Well, in some other videos he has said that he dies very often and learns spells through reference/experience. So I'd assume a while.

And yeah, I noticed the change in music right away. It sounded slightly lower in tune. While this version is considerably great (Better than many Touhou songs), I still prefer the game's Necrofantasia

And well done on beating Gensokyo! ....I mean Yukari! It took me forever to beat her, but you've done it so well! Great Job!

-Short answer: Two weeks, this is my second time beating her,

Long answer: I started practicing Yukari and halted to do the Imperishable Run set of vids at around day ten after I started practicing. After doing the IN run, I went back to Yukari for like two days before defeating her. Obviously I didn't actually spent 12 full days fighting her. So it didn't took so long IMO.
