open hand drummers really have a distinct advantage over other drummers... they seldomly cross their arms... so they can do some stuff that are hard to do when playing ordinary right hand drumming... hell! I wish I started open hand 8 years ago! It would take me another 8 years for me to get back on track with open hand drumming!
