the spectrum has more balls than the sega master system, at least the chopper goes up and down like it does in the arcade and does not stay fixed on top of the screen like a 1943 shooter!
considering the limitations of the spectrum, people were really imaginative with the games that they created during that time. Of course, that was also before publishers became all-powerful and started saying "you have to make either a 3d first person shooter, or casual game like bejewelled, or we won't publish it because it might damage our profits" Oh, and there has to be a flashy menu screen with so many options that you get bored before the game has even begun.
