  • finding the name of this song is impossible and I challenge that nobody can do it.

  • a grind for eddy.

  • Dam that 1 took a while i was kinda nervous haha wish i could roll wit him

  • keep pressing 8. LOLOL

  • @AZNboi10921 hahahahahahahhahaha

  • I love Ude Garami

  • Love how you know Bravo is going to hit his lockdown and go to mission control.

Just look at how calm Eddie is and how he takes a deep breathe before hitting his moves and sets them up. He might not be the GOAT but still a grappling genius.

  • @cncaliguy09 he never goes to mission control lol.

  • Alder doin it big!! We were both jungle Dj's in LA since 96... This fool would always put me in ridiculous locks and started to get really good and look at him now. Bravo!!

  • I use moves i learned from eddie bravo in sparring and they really reinforced my guards. I love being on my back.

  • @Jersm5 That's what SHE said (sorry, I had to do it.)

  • everybody trys to smash eddies style because he hasnt competed so much, but to me he has some sick moves when it comes to no gi grappling.. he is different, i think thats what a lot of people like and dislike about him, but he seems to be a humble guy that wants to do his thing, haters can not say that eddie isnt that good, because he is pretty good!! he evolves very good for an non-top-athlete..

want to see a match between him and rogan!!

  • This is horrible kungfu, where are the flying kicks and death strikes?

  • El-p and jiu jitsu meet???? It's a beautiful day for me.

  • @mike93stray hell yeah bruh def jux son. Hey what song is it el p & aesop rock?

  • @SuperUrbanite thanks it's called hemogloben is a cool word

  • @mike93stray hell yeah bruh def jux, son whats the name of this song?

  • @SuperUrbanite type the lyrics into google and you willl most likly find the song

  • Horrible

  • They will learn humility? Hmm

  • That Electric Chair would have worked on anyone else.

Brilliant. Didn't figure that fight would end with a Kimura / Arm Bar

  • Could someone please tell me the name of the dnb track in the beginning? Thanks

  • Seriously, I get so sick of how people would rather sit at home on the internet and complain about why certain styles of martial arts aren't as good as other styles. Go train and get better than everyone else and prove it instead of talking your ass off.

  • @M00B0X if they actually started training, they would learn some humility and respect and they would exit the style vs style debates on the internet.

  • another level

  • straight armbar from half guard...matt hughes got it on royce gracie in their fight but he didn't tap

  • @racingmylife15 I think Matt could of got him if he went at that straight arm lock again after the kimura didn't tap him but in interviews later he stated it was american wrestling and not BJJ that beat Royce so maybe by deciding to pound Royce out he wanted to make a point about wrestling, just a theory

  • @ElCreepoAustraliano he didn't want to break royce's arm...he could have, if he wanted to. I don't think he wanted to prove a point about wrestling, since the straight armbar etc are all bjj techniques. however, he tried to prove that his bjj is good too.

  • @racingmylife15 If you watch the fight, Matt's wrestling is what puts him in the position to attempt the Subs. Period. Royce does NOT use wrestling to put himself in positions to finish, he relies purely on BJJ. So you saw the result.

  • just now startin to realize the true beauty of jui-jitsu..

  • @BootyBot well its a bout time :P

  • interesting match but that music sucks extremely bad.

  • Please tell me someone knows the name of this song...

  • What is the thing eddie wears on his head?

  • @TylerH2055 It's dream catcher

  • @TylerH2055 I think its a guard to stop you from getting cauliflower ears. I think anyway, may wanna look up 'cauliflower ear guards' just to make sure. If it is reply to me to tell me whether im wrong or not lol, because I would like to know too.

  • @trivrock2k6 you're right. its called a "scrum cap"

  • @trivrock2k6 yeah man thats what they are

  • should learn gi and no gi,

  • What is the name of this song? I know it's el-p, but I can't find shit.

  • Nvm my bad but still is badass

  • @kristchelw dude ur wrong he was a purple belt which makes Eddie look better

  • guy: "get as high as you can on that right hand..."

    eddie: "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

    hahahaha what a legend!

  • at my school they offer sub wrestling and bjj, train in both. best of both worlds

  • 1:38 eddie cheats, he uses his headgear for extra grip

  • @danpats1 ROFL

  • dude he never beat royce gracie, he beat royler gracie when he was a brown belt with a triangle choke.

  • Hahahaha "SHUT THE FUCK UP."

  • i personally think u should carry a pink gi for yourself cloud and a black gi for your street opponent that way she will think she has the psychological advantage over u simply because u r wearing pink.

  • As a practioner of bjj and jkd, getting in a mma fight , its good to use your bjj, but if your out on the street with concrete and asphalt, well you better be careful.

  • i love watching eddie beat the bugger guy

  • is there anyone as good as eddie bravo on their back?

  • @lfcroblfcgetbettied Garcia, DeSouza, Roger Gracie ... yea, I could name a few.

  • @Fupper16 yeah it was kind of a joke comment, i meant he is really good, eddie bravo would still give anyone a challenge, especially now, he's probably learnt alot more over the years, rubber guard i dont think anyone has the skills he has.

  • @Fupper16 Leo vierra, jeff glover

  • @lfcroblfcgetbettied many many people. Eddie was a decent competitor and deserves huge credit for his work on this system but he is not a world class BJJ player by any means at all

  • @graciehunter100

are you retarded? He beat Royce how is he not a world class bjj player?

  • Last Saturday I had a seminar with Hoyler Gracie He was telling us to just wear your go till you have it mastered No go at that stage is all natural, your not even looking for grips You will have them before you even realize

  • @jaidingo why are you calling it no go its no gi

  • eddie does all the pussy moves. cmon inverted kimura from half guard? Arm triangle from half guard, and in another video GUILOTINE from half guard.... cmon man....

  • @ph33ric Yeah, those are such hard moves

  • @ph33ric....are you kidding me? take what is there...winning is winning

  • alder is strong as a god damn bull. i'm surprised eddie is strong enough to finish him with an armbar like that.

  • even from a traditional background in my early days of training i agree that getting used to a gi could be a bad thing in the future. fights dont happen in uniform so train to fight , dont train to just train.

  • lol STFU

  • what song is this? i know it could be EL-P but whats the song?

  • i love the one second between eddie saying shut the fuck up! and everyone laughing afterwards

  • @khazal12 that was great, why did that guy he needed to help instruct eddie for? I bet thats the last time he offers assistance to a top level guy, lmao

  • too much stalling. Jump in the fire.

  • bj penn would obviously beat eddie in a fight. in a bjj match? im not so sure.

  • eddie wont do mma..

    1. he doesnt train(punching, kicking, etc)

    2. i dont think he will ever give up smoking weed

  • Eddie's also got a really weak chin, and yea he likes his weed too much

  • lol, so do the Diaz-es, and they're pretty good!

  • @eric18603yankees once weed is legalized in the US, it will be removed from the banned substances list

  • @eric18603yankees plus he is 40

  • @eric18603yankees bj penn, nick and nate diaz smoke weed all da time in fact nick diaz has the most awesome quote were he says ''i dont think weed is getting in the way of my mma i think mma is getting in the way of my weed'' looooooooooooooool

  • @eric18603yankees What does smoking weed have to do with not doing MMA? Look at Nick Diaz???? Also Joe ? However you are correct, he will not do MMA.

  • el p remix, eddie is tyhat bjj man.

  • eddie bravo is awesome. i love watchin' his shit. but i have to say, my dream is to see him compete in mma. bravo vs penn, or bravo vs aoki...man, i'd love to see him against either of those two.

  • Eddie would probably get smashed by Penn. I think he'd beat Aoki, but I don't know if they'd fight or not, as they've trained together before.

Either way, I'm pretty sure Eddie won't be doing any MMA.

  • Yeah Penn would be way too strong and big for him. BJ isn't a small guy, he's like 5'10 and his top game is suffocating.

  • as much as i like eddie he would stand no chance to penn or aoki in a mma match

  • he beats aoki's ass in bjj. and thats what aoki is known for. Aoki doesn't ever stand with people, if they thought they would probably mutually go to the ground.

  • since eddie trains him this would make sence but u can ask eddie himself he dosent like geting hit in the face, and in a mma match aoki will still use strikes on the ground to open up holes in peoples defense. aoki would still win and thats no dis to eddie

  • I suppose.

You bring up an interesting point.

  • ya you didn't see him tool shaolin with his kickboxing did you

  • Joke. Eddie Bravo would get molested by BJ Penn. He could outbox Bravo any day. Eddie doesn't even pretend he could compete with those guys.

  • Eddie could never take him down. I would like to see them in a bjj match though.

  • eddie would never fight think about it there is no instensitive to fight he has a lot of money he is living the life lol

  • whats the name of this track?? dope hip hop!!

  • not sure of the track but the artist is EL-P

  • why is everyone always bitching about GI or no GI?

SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TRAIN YOUR ASS OFF

  • Amen... It's just the current trendy thing to do. But essentially it all comes down to training your ass off.

  • @Fupper16

    + 1000

I do enjoy nogi the most. But I dont care what other people do

  • @Fupper16 yeah, thats right. train!! in no gi......

  • @Fupper16 YES!!!!! THANK you so fucking much for just SAYING it!

  • Nice roll!

  • Well, before I fight someone on the street I usually have them wear a gi first. That's right, I carry a spare gi on me at all times just in case I get in a street fight. I'm like "alright man let's do this!! but first, put this on".

  • lol!

  • Thats a very simple minded way of looking at Jiu Jitsu. Jiu Jitsu is a sport as well as a self defense. Gi Jiu Jitsu is just a different aspect of the sport side of it.

  • not about street fighting...

  • @kloud51 Yeah I live in an area where people don't wear pants, belts or jackets. If someone does it's a gentleman's code to strip down to your underwear before you fight.

  • @kloud51 Yeah , honestly though i think its goo to teach gi jiu jitsu to military men, as they are realistically , wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants, and most modern army soldiers are too. it helps them a lot. but yeah i think gi advocates are just saying your grip will be better if you train in the gi, and its hard to pass a guys guard when in the gi, its dry and there is friction, imagine how youd slice through someones guard without, and when there is sweat involved. stuff like that

  • @kloud51 Well, before I fight someone on the street I usually have them take their shirts and pants off first. That's right, I walk around in either board shorts or underwear only 100% of the time just in case I get in a street fight. I'm like "alright man let's do this!! but first, take off all your clothes."

  • @DanHipp One of the main points in most grappling arts such as Judo and BJJ is to get you thinking that the clothes your opponent has on can be used as a weapon against him. In MMA fights your opponent cannot grab clothing because the competitiors are supposed to be meeting eachother on equal terms.

  • @jagexisthedevil um, thanks? I realize that...if you'd read the post to which I was responding, you'd get it.

  • @kloud51 yea i guess a gi isn't used to represent clothing right?

  • @kloud51 i dont see anything wrong with the gi ive got into scraps on the street and utilised my gi techniques on one of the most popular items of clothing ever; the hoodie, and my gi techniques work fine but i also train no gi aswell so it doesnt really matter but i think gi is a good base

  • @kloud51 If someone is wearing a jacket or even a thick t-shirt, there are plenty of gi attacks that will work on them.

If you train no-gi you're ready to fight at the beach or the waterslides or something. But how often do you see naked dudes fighting.

Train in the gi and you can work no-gi techniques easily. Train without the gi you'll be taken out of your game when you try to train with it.

Look at the best no-gi grapplers in the world. They all train with the gi.

  • @kloud51 Thats a good idea...I personally wear a gi all the time, also at work. There's no law against that.

  • @kloud51

You should probably learn no gi then. hahahaha jk

  • @kloud51 How often do you fight in the street?

  • @kloud51 in most countries people wear coats outside for a good portion of the year,so thats a good enough reason to train with 1 sometimes but it would have to be with strikes .for self defense train with and without gi but the deal breaker is whether its mma rules sparring, just grappling isnt self defense.

  • @kloud51 I usually make them strip to their boxer shorts or only fight people on the beach

  • @kloud51

I dont care, i just jump on my back and say "GET IN MY GUARD".

  • @kloud51 Well maybe your place is so fucking hot that everyone is always walking around in just shorts, or maybe a couple of rashguards here and there??

I`m not against no gi jiu jitsu and I actually train no gi more that with gi, but still I think gi is important because people might actually have some clothes on them in the streets...

  • @arhvash yeh but clothes rip gi's dont

  • @lusby16 Depends on what kind of clothes you have and how smart you are :P

I choked out a guy once, with his own t-shirt, it steched good, but didn`t rip...

  • @kloud51 That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

  • @kloud51 so what your saying is that you and everyone around you walk around in skin tight rash gaurds or shirtless all the time, bc to me a flannel shirt or a winter coat will work just as well as a gi top,

  • @kloud51 hahaha love it!

  • ? You gotta train both man. Because in real life street fights, people wear hoodies, and clothes, and guess what they grab those clothes to use as leverage too, especially if they dont' know what they are doing.

  • @kloud51 lol

  • @kloud51 lol so random

  • @kloud51

ok I see the argument on how no gi is more effective for mma (not neccessarily saying I agree with it, but I see it)

however tho Gi and traditional BJJ is more effective for self defense imo because on traditionally they trained BJJ for self defense but now it's for sport and points. Second what do people wear on the streets, Jeans = tough GI pants Coats = gi top

    leather belt = belt.

  • @kloud51 I also think wearing a gi does a good job of simulating a fight where the combatants wear things like jackets. I do both because I think it's best to train everything so you're prepared for the worst. You're also not likely to run across opponents who are wearing skintight shirts or shorts with no shoes on in a padded room either.

  • @kloud51 @kloud51 well you may bring a gi for street fights but im always carying a pair of NHB shorts and convince my attacker to take all his clothes off and put them on because i want to be able to move fast otherwise i would get my ass kicked.

  • @kloud51 Turns out you can use jackets and collar shirts alot like gi's in a fight.

  • @kloud51 gis good for actual sport and what not, it could also tie in to self defense if you are gonna use their jacket or shirt to hold on to them or something

but no gi is good for self defense

    (thats just my opinion)

  • the gi is so heavy and tough.

on the streets clothes tear and.

    gi and clothes.

    completely different.

  • tear a jeans jacket, or a flyer jacket in your hands. not that easy really

  • round 1.26 eddie bravo is trying a strange headlock. Does anyone know this technique ? thanks

  • it's actually an arm triangle. he just started with an unorthodox grip.

  • @yannlaurentfabien Never seen it before, but it looks like a neck crank. Neck cranks are highly underrated and I'm glad Eddie uses them.

  • lmao i never sub anyone like that ..

  • lol stfu

  • eddie fucked his shit up!!!

  • what song is this

  • get as hig0h as u can on the right hand///

SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!! haha man eddie sounded so serious.....

  • wait eddie has gauges right? does he put that thing on his ears so he can do jiu jistu even with his gauges on?

  • its so he doesnt fuck his ears up. cauliflower ear or however you spell it

  • the ear protectors are to prevent cauliflower ear from rolling on the sweaty mat

  • Pretty open environment, People can pretty much use whatever language they want lol.

  • can u people tell me advantages of gi vs no gi. gi seems like it is only for competitions.

  • Excellent question. Typically, the advantages of gi and no gi differ from person to person. Whilst in a gi, one may dislike the extra friction or "clutter" with the extra fabric, whilst another person may like having the ability to grab the collar, lapel, pants, belt, etc.

Personally, I like no gi for its more "street oriented" approach to taking on people who don't have a gi on. However, I like gi because it certainly helps you build up your basic knowledge and technique. Hope this helps.

  • bobert1223 wouldn't training with a gi be more "street oriented". In the street I would ge grabbing all kinds of shit, his shirt, jaket, pants, sleeves etc. In no-gi you can't grab anything. No-gi would only be more realistic on the beach...

  • I understand what youre saying, and I agree to a certain degree. Although gi-based techniques can be used on the street, they probably arent going to have the same effectiveness as they would without the other person ACTUALLY wearing the gi. Sure, it would work extremely well if they were wearing a heavy jacket or sweatshirt, but if a guy shows up in a t-shirt and you try to collar/x-choke him without a gi collar, it may prove very difficult. That's just my opinion, though. That's why I do both!

  • Ya, best to train both of course. Funny thing is when I train gi for awhile and then roll no-gi I look for grips automatically. Same holds true vice-versa.

  • Any Gi choke can be done with a t-shirt. Just mod it a little bit. Instead of grabbing just the collar grab the sleave and the collar, etc. The more shirt you have in your grip the more it feels like a Gi.

  • Nope... I don't know what kinda of crazy ass t-shirts your wearing...

  • love the electric chair sweep by eddie

  • hahaha love eddie "shut the fuck up!"

  • do 10th planet ppl train gi as well? cause i know you earn belts under eddie but i only see no gi. someone enlighten me?

  • not that ive seen, ive heard from some friends that train in hollywood under eddie that the purpose behind the pure-nogi bjj approach was that in MOST true "streetfight" or MMA competitions, you will more than likely not have the luxury of being able to use the extra handles of the gi, particularly in southern cali's warm climate where jackets aren't as common as other regions.

  • No they do strictly no-gi, and "belt ranks" are indicated by a shirt of varying colors (White shirt, Blue shirt, Purple shirt, Brown shirt).

  • True...most street fights take place in spandex shorts and a light coat of vaseline.

I traing gi, but don't grab the gi. That way, I have to be more technical to get out of stuff...and it's hot as fuck. That's better training. That way, I don't have to depend on "the luxury of" being able to slip out with sloppy technique due to sweaty skin.

  • It's No-Gi jiu-jistu as far as I know.

  • El-P is the MC

  • OMG LMFAO "shut the fuck up"

  • what is the name of the song? Great vid btw

  • i love the stuff eddie bravo puts out as far as moves... but i havent found one vid of eddie grappling without him using the lockdown for most of the match. it drives me insane! someone wanna reccommend me to a vid where he uses the rubber guard or any of those things more than his lock down?

  • you should watch this video " Eddie bravo and naoya uematsu"

  • ROFL STFU!! 5:59

  • song name plz

  • this music is TERRIBLE, but great video

  • shitty song really fucks up an otherwise sweet vid.
