@beatnik741 Theres a man that knows lol I remember standing in the carpark at the end off the street in Banbridge at 7 in the morning with someone playing that from their car.
you poor children you were born in the wrong time....you have R&B and X factor...we had Rave and old skool house.....its great to have lived back in the day 1989-1995
@TheHumanBallsack In my opinion, that is because paradoxically, many forms of music are not meant for everyone. Mark my words, there will come a day when there will be music that comes out that will be a drug...
@welshhibby those were the nights ..proper nights with the huge build up to the weekend , all the planning and bouncing around for that weekend of pure bliss ......i pity the fools of today !!!
But I do like some of todays music, as long as its underground and not commercial dance/pop shit. These are great tunes. I like songs from Orbital too, they really take you back too the good old days.
does this track not just some up being alive in 1992? the atmosphere, better weather, endless holidays, friends, pubs, clubs and much more. What an era that was! the noughties? R&B? tinchy stryder? pah, they don't know what they missed!
this whole beauiful style of music died out when everything got pidgeon-holed. I long for a club where anything goes again, with a single room. No escape.
@PMC0373 That's strange I was doing the raves in Paris at that time, were you ever at Mozinor...here's a link to video footage of some of the raves in Paris around 91 an 92: /watch?v=ZU8zfhcI6iQ
you cant really rave to this, in hte same way that you would sl2's on a ragga tip. I think this is where tehcno and house started to split. Great tune and in my view ideal to chill out to. Imagine flying over the clouds with this tune playing,
there's nothing recent that could have the same effect on me....for all the progress in the world we've gone backwards musically, give me 88-92 any day
Shivered when I heard the opening notes. I only ever raved to the rave version of this. This is the original track. Air Nikes on, Loose baggy clothing, and let it all flow............lets go.

reason -> effect!
we had the luck to hear "the originals" in our youth, like todd terry, junglebrothers, poublik enemy, NWA and all the others.
what should they do? its no more played in the radiostations. what they have to hear is decided by others.
