they probably weren't battling. or sparring. maybe play fighting but I doubt that since giraffes are some of the most peaceful animals (aside from the very rare times that they do fight..and even then theyre pretty curteous and friendly about it). this was more than likely necking, if it wasnt in fact play fighting. when giraffes really fight they will do it for a mate and they will do it side by side. thats actually one of the signs that males are going to fight. still a good video though ty
