@aNIMEsORCERESS1 to be honest i think kao's gotta be pretty strong. i mean he obviously had feeling that werent compleatly admitted. he probably felt helpless when he started losing Hikaru. but he didnt try to hurt himself. i think hed have to be strong. to come so close to losing the only thing that ever mattered and to see it all happen right in front of you like that. he'd have to be strong so i do agree with you. i just cant imagine one hitachiin without the other.

Lol he doesn't die in the series! He dies in this amv. They both do. Kaoru committs suicide at the end of this vid. But no the series just ends with everyone still in HS taking part in the Host club.
