I this cartoon it was one of my favorites. I remember when I was a little boy after this show went off I would go outside to the swings and jump out just like tarzan.....lol
Ok...I am officially confused as to what time period we are in! One episode, Tarzan fights amazons and vikings and the next he's guiding early 20th century explorers...and NOW he's face-to-really big face with an Imperial Mammoth!
I am so glad that I can share these with my kids. What is not on youtube you can probably get as a box set on Amazon.com. I love most of the Filmation series.
I loved this cartoon, Jonny Quest and Planet of the Apes. The soundtracks were awesome & the backgrounds impeccable! I also liked Heman & thunder cats & of course Bugs Bunny. Cartoons are not the same anymore. Thanks for uploading smart, moral cartoons and not "dumbing down" our youth!
I am He Man, King of the women people, they are my sex slaves by day & whores by night, I take no prisoners but make them love & appreciate me, if you see me alone in the jungle, approace me naked, for I am He Man !
U hve got 2 b kiddn me! 4 the most part of 25 yrs ive been tryin 2 get hold of this tarzan or atleast get a glimse of n e episode, believe it or not, not evry body remembers this tarzan so i thought id neva c tarzan LOTJ again; low n behold here it is on bludy youtube...hexseeker u r a friggin [STAR!!!]
Perhaps this may seem odd to say this, but some of my morality came from watching cartoons such as this. I was eight years old when I first watched this. Never forgot this cartoon.
I agree with you. It is same with me. This music, drums and voice of Tarzan itself gives you strange confidence. And in mean time flashes of memories...old good childhood.
@stewiefg2005 Nothing odd about it. Education comes from truth, truth comes from wherever you can observe it. Tarzan opening was PURE comic books. And classic at at that, as classic as Batmans secret origin. Where btw did you get this? Can't seem to find it anywhere. I'd love to get my hands on this to show my kids and nephews and nieces. Not to mention enjoyment for myself lol
Hi Hex, can't wait for more episodes..I've seen all that you have, and really appreciate you posting them...this is my domain, and i protect those who come here..for I am Tarzan...I LOVE IT!!!
Hi. Thanks for your comment. I already promised to some people that I am gonna post new episode soon and ... I never did :( I was so busy with my education recently. But as soon I find time I will do it, I promise. There are only 3 more left.
@hexseeker I havent seen this cartoons in sooooo! many years! thanks for the memories,God bless you.but in some way now he kind of looks like bruce lee.
This Cartoon and the Kig Kong Cartoon were the fondest of my early years wish I could get more of the Kongs, omly 2 DVDs released, I know its not filmation but still great for the kids.
Thankyou Hex always again and again :). With this episode I should definitely be able to make my first homemade DVD-divx disc full of Tarzan eps. And I can probably fit the last 7 or 8 eps on a CDrom. This will go into my great collection of toons!TY!

@Gunganfan How do you know it's not a Woolly Mammoth. I'm even surprised that one of them still exists in this cartoon.
Rtkat3 7 months ago
@Rtkat3 No. I'm saying I can't figure out the time period of this cartoon! Tarzan seems to be bouncing up and down the time stream at random!

lol Tarzan never told him what his name was, though he used it anyway. Guess Tarzan's reputation preceded him.
