Randle El and Larry Foote are both back! A great move for the Steelers. Both were leaders and great locker room guys. That was most of the problem last season. Also we have improved our special teams!

lions dont have the best linebacker core at all, there good but, the steelers have tthe best, timmons farrior woodley harrison, best right there, and the lions should pay more attention to having an offense rofl
you guys are crazy, hes a great MLB but was expendable because Pitt had Timmons so Foote had to split time and his numbers dropped. He signed a one year deal now he is between Ernie Simms and Julian Peterson easily in the top 3 of linebacking cores. If he does as good as we all think next season he can sign a much bigger contract then he wouldve this year if it was a multi year deal
I think its a great pickup but best LB corp in the NFL? No. Love the Lions but look at his former team - Harrison, Woodley, Timmons & Farrior. Seahawks have Aaron Curry, Leroy Hill, Lofa Tatupu. Bears have Briggs, Urlacher & Hillenmeyer. Texans have DeMeco Ryans, Brian Cushing & Xavier Adibi. I think we have the best LB in our division & are among the top in the NFC but not the best in the NFL - until someone beats the Steelers 4

larry foote greatly disappointed me when he left the lions. he came to detroit because the superiority of the reward if the lions turned the team around, Foote being with his hometown team part of the turn-around...and then leaves back to pitsburg because he "wanted to be with a winner" ... leaving a hole in the MLB position, hurting his hometown team. and WTF are the steelers doing paying the man $9 million as an abysmal unproductive backup?? watch Foote get cut before the season starts
Hes always been overlooked as one of the best LB's in the league. Hes always been in the shadows of Porter and Farrior and now Harrison and Woodley. He is so good tho.

I hope so...but who do they have upfront ? Grady Jackson is not a three down player anymore and that's pretty much all we have.

Detroit has the best Linebacking core in whole NFL.. good thing is Peterson, sims and Fotte all can stop the pass as good as the run.. GO LIONS!!!
