Come on people, explain to me how democracy is not dead when most people oppose the bailout, and BOTH parties support it? If you listen to the interview between Matthews and Bachmann, it's clear that Matthews had an agenda. Bachmann never said Obama is Anti-American. She questioned his friendly relationship with known terrorist Bill Ayers and documented America basher and Obama's Pastor, Reverand Wright. Also, she said if Matthews wants to find out if there are un-american members of Congress,don't ask her, but investigate for himself. She did not call for a McCarthy like Congressional hearings. That's the truth.

UPDATE - Rep. Bachmann should have stuck to economics. Instead, she boarded McCain Palin sleaze wagon, insinuating the Sen, Obama is anti-American and extending that to any fellow legislators who don't align themselves with her Ultra-Christian-Right-Conserva tive-ism. People across the country have responded by contributing over $500,000 over the weekend to her opponent in the race to represent the 6th congressional district in MN. In the end, Obama and McCain voted for the same bail out.
