@BBCSHEEPNEWS I'm sorry that you didn't listen to Mr Carlin's video carefully. Efforts to fight global warming is not about "the planet" as a spinning ball of rock, water, and elements. It is about protecting those of use who live on it, which is the point he makes.
I would encourage you to actually talk to "people like us" about our motivations rather than cast aspersions. You may be surprised.
@BBCSHEEPNEWS If your "rich" are the farmers whose crops are being effected by the changing crops, children who will continue to get asthma from polluted air, or residents of island nations whose countries are disappearing, then sure.
Taking no action on climate change only favors dirty energy (coal and oil) billionaires in the long run. They get richer every day we continue our dirty energy addiction, while their workers die every year as we've seen in the Gulf of Mexico and WV coal mines.
