  • @sherbert256 I have an account for tutorials. my channel name is guintotutorials

  • @xxGuinto

not to be an ass..but...idono, i didnt really think your tutorials were /that/ good i mean..yeah better than nothing but...you a fucking sick glowstringer, so i kinda expected your tutorials to be as sick as your glowstringing

  • @vampir3blood I completely agree on the poor quality of the tutorials. I apologize, but I will likely not have time or motivation to make new ones soon. : \ (unless convinced otherwise)

  • @xxGuinto

that would be pretty sweet! a few of your newer ones were pretty good, but the ones where you were starting were just slow-motion lol

although i havent started stringing yet due to finals and such, im pretty sure im going to want to do stuff with handles because of all the additional stuff you can do with them...any chance you could throw a thing or two up about switching colors into/ out of your hand?

  • Wooooooooo!! Noiicee!

  • Intense video, nice flow. Keep putting out videos!

  • wow i wish i knew how to do that so i can be lookin cool nd sexy at edc 11

  • Awesome work man! You're a great inspiration, both through your talents and your openness about your faith. I've wanted to try glowstringing for a while, and with your tutorial videos I think I'm finally going to try.

  • Awesome, like all of the videos I've seen of you!

What kind/length of string do you use to make glowstring? If I end up with time to get into poi, it's something I'd love to try myself some day! Thanks!

  • @dire5 I use 45" round kiwi shoe laces :D. If you would like further help or info please ask!

  • @xxGuinto Thanks very much! I recently ordered some "starting supplies" so I might take you up on that!

Also just fyi, it looks like there's a problem with Phillip's website (almost as awesome as the tricks you're doing is the awesome music, methinks!)

  • @xxGuinto yeah, how do you tie/hold them? ive been experimenting different ways and found a good one, but i am just wondering how the master does it o_O

  • very smooth, clean and fluid. one of the best fer sher!

  • Sick video, where do you buy your glowsticks at?

  • @Rstil666 extremeglow's website

  • hey i have a question. i am a new glowstringer, and you have inspired me well enough. everytime i think about quitting i watch one of your vids and i start back up. i am having trouble with moves like the corkscrew. i know the figure 8, but when i try to do it with strings i hit my hands alot and then i lose motion.

  • @Musmar11 never give up man its definitely worth it more if u stick with it ive been at it for five yrs and still have so much to see created and much more to learn besides the people u can meet is another huge part in why i still do it everyday just my opinion

  • This is bery cool...

men yo soy glowstickero de guatemala y te admiro.,...

  • thats wats up!

  • Wow your so amazing bro! You are my hero!! :D.

  • awesome!!!

  • uhh yea, i desire to marry you... XD but in all honestly your doing awesome, keep it up, your like my idol, except i cant glowstring, haha, but if i ever master the art itll be because of your greatness :)

  • gotta be honest, the last few vids you posted i really didnt like as much as your other, older vids.. it just didnt seem like the guinto i used to watch when i started glowsticking, but this video DEFINITELY brought back the old sense of euphoria i used to find from watching your vids :D

awesome job and CONGRATS on the 3 years.

  • Love the pattern at 1:15 or so. Those switches are so clean. Awesome job!

  • Amazing vid as always congrats on making it this far... I can't think of a better way to spend time with friends

  • Woah, so I have to be honest for a moment there watching your other videos I was starting to think you were laking your creativity juices but this absolutely blew my mind. Great job, keep it up.

  • Love watching you string Guinto. I have lower back problems, and it makes stringing and learning to do moves difficult on me, but seeing you do it inspires me to keep trying anyway. Thanks for striving on for three years and continuing to show me what amazing things I can achieve!

  • Wow :D You are still so amazing at this. Congratulations on three years, I hope you keep having fun doing it. ^^

    ~Malia

  • another great video guinto seems u have been practicing a whole to more than i have sadly though :P with college and work i barely have time to sleep but great so see u improving soo much hope the best for you man and keep in touch from time to time :P

  • btw 1:54 - 1:59 are? short string spining only cant figure it out seems like isolations but they are too fast and shor so dunno if you could enlighten me :P

  • @guatemalaal07 those are buzzsaws :)

  • wish i had friends that were into glowstringing/poi kinda sucks to learn by yourself and to have no one to spin with....

  • finally gettin new moves down i see! congrads on ur 3 yrs by the way.

  • grats on your 3 years guinto! :D

you're very clean and you make it look too easy!

but can i ask you a question?:

how do i combine my moves together? how did you do it?

    thanks ^^

  • @HenryyyyyyyyyyyPwns The way I combine moves is just practice a new one that i learn with everything else I know. So basically when I learn a new wrap or something, I just try to get into it in every way I can think of. Since I do that with most of my moves, then I am able to freely transition from anything to anything else.

I would just recommend focusing on one move at a time trying to go into it in a variety of ways to give yourself a lot of options :D

  • you are too fluid man. will you be at TAO this year? :)

  • @Ayseria Nope, sorry

  • bombastic!!!

  • i have a a new hobby to learn to go along with my yoyoing

  • :)

  • wow man...I remember subscribing to you when you put out your 2nd yr. vid. You really have gotten better. You have a definitive skill set (complex wraps with close bodied spins) You are comboing like a boss. You always have been in my opinion the greatest stringer out there. Thanks for these videos and God bless!!!!

  • Congrats bro, while you just put up your new 3 year video, I just put up my recent 3 month video :D I took your advice you gave me from last time.

Overall with this video, epic job :)

  • Sick vid man! 3 years is a long time! Keep it up! Your polyrhythms and antispin buzzsaws were awesome too ^,^

  • sickkk man congratz on 3 years.. what are the flowers called at about 1:05 - 1:08 ish

  • @FoRealJuggalos I call them clover flowers (which is what they are listed as on my tutorial channel) but using the actual names for the combination I think it is: split time butterfly antispin wall plane flowers :p

  • @xxGuinto Awesome man thank you. Love your tuts too!

  • @FoRealJuggalos I dont actually know :P I call them clover flowers in one of my tutorial videos on my guintotutorials accout :P

  • @xxGuinto Just for reference, those "cover flowers" are, to be most specific, called "split-time butterfly wallplane antispin flowers." But I'd say the wallplane part is kind of understood since it's for the most part impossible in any other way, so "split-time butterfly antispin flowers" would be what most people in poi call those. I was a poi-er first and still am ;-) But glowstringing is hella fun! I'm currently learning 3-strings, and it's just all kinds of difficult.
