  • Are you gonna catch a gracie in this? Probably not. But why but why bitch about the move? Try it. I've pulled it off in class. The more tools u have, the better.

  • Moves like these are a waste of time u never see any top guys in the game use these stupid techniques

  • Wow that was like a peruvian necktie meets reverse gogoplata...niice

  • This is the sickest choke I have ever seen in my life.

  • New??!! I Learned this like years ago bro hahaha

  • setup faking the kimura

  • I am so excited to have learned this. 10th Planet Vista rep!

  • thats alot of arm and leg wrappin to do when your opponent will be resisting.Nice if you pull it off

  • the first part has to be TIGHT!

theres no way that shin 'movement' can finish of the choke

  • awesome tech. Thanks

  • Kinda like an inverted peruvian neck tie. I think the strongest aspect of this submission is surprise, no one would expect this

  • It looks cool, but I dont understand why throwing leg behind the head is needed when you already have a side choke variation at :45 if you just grabbed your bicep and sprawled a bit you would have the tap and have gotten it with less risk.

  • would this choke be legal in gi competition?

  • thats the sweetest choke i have ever seen

  • Very creative, I'm going to try that at practice...

  • siiiiccckk submission by the wayy

  • i have been thinking about joining this 10th planet any info on prices for me i looked into website and couldnt find anything if i could get an answer it would beeee soo helpful thanks

  • instead of all that fancy stuff y dont u just get the choke by sprawling -i dnt kno the name but its a version of the arm triangle- erick paulson does that move all day everyday!

  • This looks like the 'Koji Clutch" (a Pro-wrestling move).... The only thing different is the set up, and execution, plus this looks a hell of alot tighter than the Koji Clutch... Thanks for sharing this, deadly as always..

  • AW HELL YEAH!! Just added another one to my arsenal to try on the homies ROFL

  • I love this move it sick as hell

  • this move has helped me alot thank you

  • Excellent!

  • 6969696969696969

  • Sean Bollinger FTW

  • i feel bad for the guy being demonstrated on, I know how he feels, being demonstrated on all the time, freakin sucks haha.

  • thats a crazy submission i think im going to catch a novice tonight with that one lmao!!! thats AWESOME

  • SERIOUSLY?!?!?

  • very awesome, thanks for posting

  • This is very similar to the apple crusher that the guys at 8th street gym down in grand junction Colorado came up with. They use the pyramid to get to what they call the puppet master. Check it out. I like this set up for it though, it's something that you can do on bigger guys or for people that aren't that flexible. It's incredibly tight.

  • sick sub!!!

  • great add on to what you guys taught at semiar yesterday in newcastle. thanks again.

  • I really like this

im gonna practice this with my friend (hes pretty technical)

  • Hahah yea BJJ always has something new to show.

  • i like how sneaky this is. im going to have to come to riverside and roll with you guys.

  • surely if you can get this you might as well go for something simpler like an arm bar or triangle? im not being critical, iu just cant see an advantage? and also could you get this from your gaurd?

  • Can you not jailbreak out when 0.48

  • @Momentimum you could maybe but since he has such a strong grip around your head and body it would be very easy for him to stay to tight as long he keeps pressure from his hips and squeezes with his arms constantly.

  • @Otsego Makes sense.

  • Its a good option when the Darc'e becomes to obvious

  • this looks complicated

  • So is it chocking him? or is a pain move?

  • more fun to go for rigan machado's twister. or mount if that doesn't work. that move hurts my knee just looking at it.

  • This is my 3rd time commenting on this technique, I opologize but this is one of the coolest subs I've seen in a while.

  • Nice flexibility!!! I like these type of chokes because they are so unusual that almost nobody sees them coming.....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • This is tight

  • thanks man that was tight

  • I pulled this move in practice after only a few days of trying it. I think it's about finding new doorways and evolving the game. The fact is your opponent is very aware to your game especially if you are the same belt level. Its a snake trick for people with flexible legs. I faked a north south choke to set up mine.

  • This is an interesting sub. I learned the set up from Royce Gracie (when he came to our school) but he taught it as a way to get to mount (which does work of course) but sometimes I can get the "armless head/arm choke" from that position, but it usually requires adjusting the deep hook deeper, not less. I look forward to trying this move... after my knee heals. Fking heel hooks.

  • Not to be rude, but why wouldn't you just finish with the choke you had? Or take the mount/back, arm triangle, Kimura, Keylock, or an Armbar, etc. Is there an advantage to this fancy move besides the fact that it looks cool???

  • thats like asking boxer "why do you do footworks and those fancy fake thingy? juat wait and punch him with one two and knock him down"

  • No it isn't. In boxing, footwork is basic stuff. It's just applied at a high level. DLR guard, X-Guard, Peruvians, reverse DLR, Z-Guards, deep Halfs, Darces, Japanese Neckties, Inverted Guards, gogoplatas, all this stuff is advanced but still basic. None of it is over to top ridiculous. The necktie in this video is,simply because there are 20 other options that will finish or advance your position with less effort. BTW, I box and do JJ. I have for 11 years this April.

  • That said, I'm sure this technique works very well for Sean B. And he is a very good competitor. I just hope that this video is him showing his talents, and not neccisarily advising EVERYONE to use this. This is a uper attribute based technique. Not that there's anything wrong with that if it worlks.

  • you could finish with the original choke or any of the others you mentioned but the point of the video was to show you another option.

  • Its a very nice choke but i am not sure how realistic it would be in a real situation.

  • marijuana muscle? hahaha whatever the hell that is, I want some

  • @thunderdan7000 it's protein powder made from hemp.

  • Great Tech, BUT...You have to have a good amount of flexibilty to pull it off. I'd just stick to the regular head and arm choke..... Eddie Bravo loves Flexibility!!!

  • SICK

  • thank you so much bro !!!!

  • that is SICK now i have another necktie to my necktie game

  • the man on his back looks like a dead fetus

  • I usually tap people out with the beggining stage of the choke, but sometimes I have to walk clockwise to get the choke. Very nice move.

  • dude, one of the nastiest submission that ive ever seen... one of my favorites right up there with peruvian and japanese neckties

  • this is a fucking SICKASS submission...gotta give it up to you bro...

  • this is tight, i choke people out all the time from the earlier position without using the leg and staying in side control, when it doesnt work i have plan b. really awesome

  • Do you have a video about that to get a better impresion???

  • Comment removed

  • wud it work if i grip it the other way with my right hand on top of my left instead? i like it when my right is on top it has more strength to pull and its more comfortable

  • Right to my favorites, a friend asked me the other day, wich other choke Can I do using mi flexibility.

On Tuesday he will know!! Thank you.

  • nice...

  • trying to get north south is going to be very tough.

  • coolest no-gi chokes ive seen yet!

  • idk im a big 10th planet fan but i dont see this happenng, the guy on the bottem should be blocking you from goin to north south, your just walkin around like its nothing

  • if you have his hip blocked and his hands aren't in front of you, all he can do is push you up. if you have your weight on him properly, and you are relatively close in size, you shouldn't be bumped much. when you switch to the other side, your pressure is the same as a typical over-under except he has only one arm, making it even stronger for you. if it's such a big deal, make your drilling partner try to bump so you get used to putting your weight on him and not giving space. the move works

  • Are you going to do the ADCC Trials this year? I hear Brandon and Denny are going to enter.

  • OMG nasty! Jiu-Jitsu Wizard!

  • Sick man sick!!! I will work it tonight! thanks again! Great video!

  • Does Sean have his black belt yet? What do you have to do to get a black belt from Eddie Bravo?

  • I've seen all Sean's videos but this is my favorite move. You do Eddie Bravo proud and have taken the Rubber Guard to new heights. Its only right this move is named after you. Keep it up man. 10th Planet Forever.

  • I can see this being setup from twister side control too, no?

  • for sure

  • @10thPlanetRiverside I have no gi tomorrow, I must try this!

  • @cjcuevas76 yea he can do a twister easily

  • so sick!

  • BOLLINGER NECK-TIE! I like.

  • The Bollinger Neck Tie is the sickest finishing move I've seen.

  • Thats it, fuckin awsome! The Bollinger Neck Tie , yeah

  • This is the "Bollinger Neck Tie"

    Pete ;)

  • That is a really cool move. It looks similar to the move we called the Unforgiven in our Puppet Master Part 4 video. Maybe you could name it the Unforgiven II,

    Wolverine

  • again, good job guys

  • sweet move.

  • That looks cool, really fuckng cool

  • If I may be so bold as to suggest a name but "Mantis" seems appropriate.

  • setups from back control?

  • Nice move, you def need a good name for the sub though.
