i luv to sing but i can't sing good lol.

Heey! I need help, When i sing i feel like im straining my throat. How do i let my voice out? Idk if this makes sense to you, its kinda hard to explain :s.. But please please please get back to me! This is my only difficulty. Btw your one of the best singers ive heard :D

@KGROSS1992... Man.. I am EXACTLY the same.. Like I know I can sing well.. And my friends and family know I can too.. But when It comes to singing in front of people.. I become one of the most nervous people ever.. It's because I want to be as good as the pros.. And anything less than that.. Is not good enough!!

HI, So The Thing Is, Everyone Tells Me I Can Sing, But I dont Know if They Are just telling me that because they are friends and family or if im really good at it. &i cant find out from any outside sources because im terrified to try and be shot down. Any Advise pleasee?

@Dileesa i agree with you dileesa dear,,,like me..everyone that i know and i be friend with said i can sing..then i go for a vocal workshop for a day, with no one that i known..after i singing in front of a vocal coach for the first time, she said i can sing and i have a natural tone..

@ShelbabyMusic11 You could go somewhere public with the people who know you can sing and you can all just sing together. It's more comforting knowing they're there. I only have a few friends who have heard me really sing(not even my mom has) and we went to the mall once and we just sat at a table for a while and sang. They can also sing, so I wasn't standing out, but I was at the same time. It felt so good knowing people walking by heard me and liked it and not feeling alone in the spotlight.

i don't know what you mean by saying singing from the top, can it mean that when you sing in different pitches u can feel vibrating from your nose.Or stomach.

I'm in need of a singing lesson, im only 13 and can sing a little but i just want to be able to hit high notes, stay on a note when im singing and also hold my breath. I'm in a talent show and my friend can sing good but i want my voice to be a little more better.

I've done this before and it really makes singing easy especially in my higher belting range. Without resonating in the places like you said, my upper range is clearer and easier. :)
