  • Love at rear bumper, custom or what?

  • NOICE TRUCK MATE!!!

  • sounds mean

  • pussy truck

  • how much lift was on this truck?

  • that is a very healthy sounding cam. You should put some turbos or glass packs kn it to get rid ofnthat “tin” sound

  • @keving2593 Don't really care for the glass packs sound, but love the sound you are hearing. Thanks for the comment.

  • @chud327 yeah dont get me wrong it sounds bad ass but it sounds like a racecar lol

  • @keving2593 I appreciate that...

  • @chud327 that sounds like my ford ranger. a 351 in a 98 4x4 with 9 inch lift and 35's. wanna trade?

  • @alexg0097 two problems; A- I'm not a Ford guy, and 2- I already sold the truck. Thanks for the comment and offer...

  • @chud327 can you tell me the specs on the cam in that thing? sounds just how i want mine to sound. awesome looking/sounding truck man

  • @srt8fan709 Here are the specs that I know on the cam. It was a special grind they had to cut for me, the part # is 396306. The grind was called 306HYD. Cam lift - .291, Valve lift - .510, Duration - 306, Dur @ .050 - 244, Lobe center - 108, and Valve lash hot - 0. Lets hear yours when you get it going...

  • @chud327 thanks man appreciate it. all i got for my project is the block at the moment, so it might be a little bit before i get a vid up lol. thanks again

  • @alexg0097 Fords are for homosexuals, thats why I own several. I just LOVE the cock!!!

  • what is camming? like what causes it? cause that sound is probably the sexiest sound ever!

  • @zman4ish the size / design of the cam. Open the valves more and longer than stock...

  • @chud327 will a bigger or smaller cam cause this sound? and what do you mean longer than stock? sorry i dont know jack when it comes to cars and trucks for that matter as you can see

  • @zman4ish The bigger cams sound this way, longer as far as how long the valves stay open. Keep asking, your learning...

  • @chud327 alright im guessing you can buy bigger cams or do you have to machine the stock ones? and how do you open the valves more and change how long they stay open?

  • @zman4ish You buy the bigger cam and it has lobes on it. This bigger cam does the work for you, the lobes are bigger which open the valves wider / longer.

  • @chud327 ok well i dont have any more questions but thank you very much for answering all my questions! i really appreciate it!

  • Its funny how some people hear all that and think theres something wrong with your motor.

  • @Hobbitchoker Funny, my friend built his hot rod and his old dad said "sounds like it is skipping..."

  • wat kinda lift

  • @96tahoe44 Here are the specs that I know on the cam. It was a special grind they had to cut for me, the part # is 396306. The grind was called 306HYD. Cam lift - .291, Valve lift - .510, Duration - 306, Dur @ .050 - 244, Lobe center - 108, and Valve lash hot - 0. I have no info on horsepower of torque number, but I can say that it really woke up my truck... Thanks for the comment.

  • i know i guy with a truck just like that but his is a step side

  • Sexy Truck Man!

  • That's what's up

  • what size tires r those?

  • @Mudderinthesouth 38.5X15's...

  • @chud327 reminds me of my old truck. nice

  • Is the front damged or sumthin i noticed the hood

  • @Hankfan96 Big lift changes the angle that you pull on the hood which often results in a bent hood...

  • @chud327 alright btw wat size lift

  • @Hankfan96 I too was on the truck when I got it, but I would guess about 9"'s give or take...

  • @chud327 alright thanx man i was jw, i got a 82 silverado and i plan on liftin it

  • @Hankfan96 make sure we see some videos...

  • @chud327 lol alright man ill try

  • That is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen/heard.

  • sick ass truck man is it a 3/4 ton i cant count the lugs on it. i have a 73 3/4 cheyenne stick shift i love these truck

  • @JRPEREZ77 8 Lugs all day long... Thanks for the comment.

  • Yep my Blazer drafted the fumes through the back window while closed also could never figure it out.

  • With the exhaust piped straight out the back, do you have problems with fumes coming into the cab? I have an '84 K10 that I straight piped like this, and had terrible problems. That is until I changed the routing to stock (dumped out the side behind the rear wheels). Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

  • @nightmareproportions Not with this truck, but I had an '87 Blazer that let exhaust through the back window. Had to put a new seal. Maybe it is a Blazer thing...

  • i love your truck!!!!! :)

  • what size tires and lift

  • thats a bad ass a** truck im buildin a 78

  • GREAT TRUCK!!!! The fall guy would be freaking proud!!!!!!

  • @chaosad09 You said it, thanks for the comment.

  • @chud327 Your welcome. Im just glad you understood what I was talking about ; )

  • fine good

  • What kind of steps are those? and size of tire?

I'm building a 85 sierra and I'm not sure what tire size to go with, i have 35's that fit pretty easy and a built 350 with good power, just about to put in my dana44 and 14bolt ff

  • @davrei87 Steps, I don't know. Tires 38X15.5X16's. Thanks for the comment and lets see your in action.

  • Its funny how these trucks always get that bend in the hood. My 78 K5 has the same thing. Nice truck

  • this is the most awesome truck ive ever seen.

  • i know you already talked about your mpg and what not, but i was curious if you knew if their was a big difference between the 454 vs the 350 in those trucks mileage wise. A friend of mine told me the 350 ate the same gas if both were driven nice but the 454 had more power. So do you think their would be a big difference in gas mileage between the motors in those trucks? cuz the 454 would be so badass to have

  • @86k20 Depends on what is done to the engines. If they are both stock or have the same amount done to them, the 350 will get better mileage. The 454 has more displacement and will drink more gas. If you have a stock 454 and a souped up 350, the 350 might drink more. If I build another I will go with the 350, but it hard to beat the power and bragging rights of a big block. Let see a video of your machine...

  • @chud327 i agree a 454 will beat out the sbc with torque every day of the week, but on gas good luck, you could build a mean sbc that will get great hp but won't match a mild bbc in torque and vise versa. just depends on what you want etc, and for you guys that think a 6 cyl is whimpy that will beat both on torque. build a mean 6 , i mean no its not beefy sounding but they have great hp, trq and lighter than both motors. have seen them in jeeps that were mean as hell.

  • yeah buddy white power!!

  • Isky is an awesome cam manufacturer. I had a custom grind done for my 240z. Nice truck.

  • Fuckin beautiful!

  • thats a bad truck, lets see it in action.

  • @bigbluemik Check chud327 and you can see a little 2 wheeling action. Thanks for the comment.

  • haha awesome chevy, i bet you get 2 miles to the galon haha

  • @cumminsboy071 No 7 mph if driven easy...

  • what kind of milage did u get? i work 5 miles one way lol i want an older badass chevy truck like this but what am i going to expect mileage wise?

  • @danomaha420118 454 with a racing cam, if I drove it extremely easy I got 7 mph. But work was less than 5 miles away for me... Thanks for the comment.

  • @chud327 Too bad they don't make chips for older trucks. Bad ass chevy - sucks for shitty mileage.

  • Thats a nice toy

  • @Zuneowner Thanks man and you can see it a little action on chud327...

  • legit.

  • fucken sexay!

  • wat year iz your truck

  • @314louboi 1977, check out more of it on chud327 and thanks for the comment.

  • That is one beautiful truck

  • Kangaroo dick.ON TOAST!!!! xD Yum Yum.

  • thats nice

  • at 3 bucks a gallon i imagine you dont drive her much on the road....lol

  • @gypman921 I was paying $20 a week because I live 5 minutes from work, but I could not afford to drive it anywhere else so I sold it...

  • dey turk er jubz

  • very nice and beautiful if only it was topless because everything is better topless

  • I like the truck. BUT whats with the hood? you need to get that fixed.

  • @16bburkman very common with these trucks. Spray those hinges with some WD40 every so often and they won't fold the hood as easily.

  • this truck is shit, its engine blew up after this video

  • you ever notice when you are driving these series of pickups that you can hear a strange slurping sound coming from the engine? lol

  • @fjeldheimkido95 Yea, I know exactly what you are talking about, mine got 7 miles per gallon!

  • @chud327 they kickass and use gass

  • @chud327

What does it get when you cram your foot in it? 7 gallons per mile? LOL.

  • @jraintdead No sir, if you baby it and drive it as easy as you can, then you get the 7 mph...

  • @chud327

Sweet truck, man. Hate that you had to sell her.

  • @slr91194 They were loud on the road, but other than that I loved them. Check out chud327 for more and thanks for the comment.

  • very nice truck

  • Best chevy truck ive seen!

  • @highridinf250 Thanks man, I wish I still had it! Have you seen any more of my junk on chud327?

  • do you know the specs on that cam?

  • @Joshua8336 Check out my early comments and they will tell you everything you want to know about the cam and it will save me some time. Thanks for the comment and check out chud327 for more!

  • How big a lift, and what size tires?

  • @Tboninator Around 10 inches and 38.5x15x15's, I think... Thanks for the comment!

  • @chud327

10"? Were you holding the camera at eye level? My 9" and 35's looks like it sits higher than yours. I'm looking to remove my body lift and run the 38.5's...

  • @Tboninator 10? Yea, eye level. 10 inches was just an estimate, I did not put the lift on the truck. I do remember I could barely reach the top of the cab, and what a pain it was to pull the engine, even with the tires off and the axles sitting on 4x4 wood blocks. Thanks for the comment and good luck with your project.

  • i just came

  • i just creamed myself!

  • I love it.

  • chud327---you're awesome man

  • @YungJosh50 Thanks for the comment, it was pretty awesome too. Be sure to check out the rest of my junk on chud327...

  • That is one badass truck love that sound

  • that sounds amazing!

  • can you fell me in on the cam info and what needs to be done to run a cam like that in a 2wd bigblock with a 400 turbo tranny, need info on rockers and valve springs also?

  • @chebbytruck If you will look back through all of the comments, I have given all the specs on the cam and I do not know where the paperwork is right this second. As for running that in you 2 wheel drive, no problem. I used about a 2500-2800 stall and that is pretty much all you need. (and some gas...) I used stock rockers and springs. Did you see the build on "Rebuilding a 454 Big Block in a 1977 Chevy 4X4 Truck"? Check it out and leave me a comment. I want to hear your cam soon!

  • @LoNgBeAcHfIvEsIxTwO It was no problem, it came from the factory with the 454. However a big block and a small block bolt up the same as far as mounts and even the transmission, you gotta love Chevy for that. About the only change you'll have are the exhaust manifolds. Go ahead and get you some headers for that big block. Thanks for the comment and good luck.

  • oh and where did you get your bumpers? just got a 86 chevy and it needs some new ones

  • @OkieRebel515 These are the bumper that came on the truck when I got it, good luck with your search and thanks for the comment.

  • Where did you get your roll bar ??

  • that is fuckin sexxxxy.

  • fuckin badass

  • yo mayne killer truck......i got something in tha works myself....hopefully it ill be up soon...

  • dam this truck is back w the big block the 4x4 still fully functional cuz im going 2 swap a lsx376 into my 4x4 sierra becuz a mechanic told me i could hook it up 2 my tranny and the 4x4 would still work

  • damn dude that sounds like a big ass cam

  • man nice truck

  • @superswamper771 Thanks for the comment and you can check out more of my junk on chud327!

  • Horsepower?? Anyways nice truck man ill bet she hauls

  • Thanks man and chud where could a feller get some of those boggin lights and that roll bar

  • @redneckboy546 I would type KC Lights in a search box, or walmart will hook you up. They are all over, thanks again for commenting.

  • Anybody kno how much lift u gotta have to fit 35s on a chevy

  • i got a 3" body lift on my truck and my 35s have room and some

  • Hey this is to anybody but how high do u have to get it to fit 35s without rubbin. Like how high of a lift?

  • Man i like how you got the back wheels to stick out.

  • @Extremeoffroadfurry you can see this trucks engine rebuild and a little spinning action on chud327. Thanks for the awesome comment!

  • that cam sounds so badass haha and that truck looks really nice as well

  • Beast truck man what kind of exhaust u got on that thing

  • @redneckboy546 Headers, 2.5" or 3" duals, (can't remember) a couple of Flowmasters, and chrome tips. Thanks for the comment and see more of this truck on chud327...

  • i want to jump it it and mash it to the floor lol

  • yeah man mint truck i want a 454 in my 69 lifted chevy but 7mpg isnt really ideal as my first truck.

  • put your dream together dude...

jus buy a little car for work and whatever.

  • Nice truck man! im thinking about swapping my small block out and throwing a 454 in there. i already get 6-7mpg. why the hell not? right? HAHA

  • nice that thing sounds mean! im jealous

  • I an jealous too, I sold the thing. However, I was not loving the 7 mpg. Be sure to check out my other junk on "chud327" and thanks for the comment.

  • 45* the exhaust! That dual out 1" away from each other isn't really working for it in my opinion haha! Just a suggestion...That thing sounds mint and looks awesome though!

  • 1" did you mean 1'?... The idea was to have the exhaust protected by the pipe bumper. It is probably the best sounding machine I've ever owned. Thanks for the comment, you can check out more or it on "chud327".

  • Sounds good, now lets see what it will do!

  • @cproc501 I wish I had more videos of what it would do... Check out "Chad's 1977 Chevy 4X4 Pickup" and "Rebuilding a 454 Big Block in a 1977 Chevy 4X4..." for the only other videos I have of this truck. Thanks for the comment...

  • how much was the engine? sounds good

  • @IFreakingEatPeople I spent around $1600 on the rebuild and it was worth every penny. You can check out a slide show of the build on "Rebuilding a 454 Big Block in a 1977 Chevy 4X4 Truck" or under "chud327" . Thanks for the comment.

  • @cordioman 38X15.5X16 and it had about 9 inches of lift, thanks for the comment and check out "chud327" for more...

  • Do you have any videos of your truck crankshafting? How about pistoning?

  • @JohnKreeseCobraKai I am not sure what the terms "crankshafting" or "pistoning" mean. But check out "Rebuilding a 454 Big Block in a 1977 Chevy 4X4 Truck" or "chud327". Please respond and explain the words for me and thanks for the comment.

  • It was a joke. But do you have any videos of your truck sparkplugging?
