I don't know...I think Charlton Heston and Will Smith did a better "Last Man on Earth" than stiff and dull "legend" Vincent Price. Clooney and Co did a lot better than the "legendary" Rat Pack with Ocean's 11. And the Duke was put in his place in the remake of "True Grit." So it can happen. And Miller is a great director. Sorry, but I don't think I'll be a moaning, whiny little pessimist like some of you people until I see the finished product.
Mad Max 1 & 2 are in my top 10 films ever, next to the original Star Wars. I fear that it will be a Mad Phanton Max Menace. Thay should make a new Wasteland film, then if it's crap, it won't spoil Mad Max.

Well... For all those conspiracy seekers, i think the clip was true. The blown truck rat rod and the black interceptor were indeed made for the film, and the scenes qhich seem similar to the first film, are not, first film had 4 door falcons for policecars, while this one has coupes. I doubt so much new cars and so much filming would be made for a fake clip.

2. The cars need to remain 70's and earlier. If they become more modern it would break the look and canon.

the film crew hasn't even rocked up yet.
they were sposed to show up here in broken hill in early july but have cancelled till later in the year.
the reason why?
we got too much rain and now it's nice and green.
they want the dry desert conditions to do the filming.
how funny is that, that we are still in a drought yet it's too green.
