I see the woman as the villain. He chases after her for years but she just leads him on. Finally she falls for him too, but by now he's tired of the game. Although he still loves her, he realizes that it's not meant to be. It pains him to do it, but he walks away. By the time she realizes she loves him, it's too late.
My interpretation of this wonderful piece of art is just Love in general, the way the girl seduces the man and how the man is trying to get the girl, in the end somtimes that love goes away..such as the ending of the video. Sad story of reality.

When he was drawing this from the tape of the dancers he needed to draw 2:30 mins of animation at 24 frames per second thats and he had to draw every frame thats A LOT of drawing, unreal video

@MarcDize es evidente que ella de alguna forma no fue siempre igual, del momento que pasa de lineas blancas a negras, para mí simepre denotó la imagen que el tipo se hacia de una persona a la que amaba, y luego, cuando ella se vuelve real, su reaccion es como que la tiene en frente y le dice "oh no.... no, perdoname, me equivoqué.... no eras como pensé....". no me parece que sea algo tan tirado para un solo costado, excepto por el hecho de que ella termine llorando...

Es la animación más hermosa que he visto en mi vida.. como te metes en la histora! La chica que se le escapa una y otra vez y allí el que la vuelve a buscar una y otra vez. Le da vida a una chica de fantasía y la vuelve una persona real...
Es muy triste el final pero es agradable toda la animación!
@MeowMyan Cielo eso se lo tendrías que preguntar a la persona en cuestión , pero quién sabe, yo creo que las personas hoy día no saben ni lo q quieren y se asustan ante el compromiso, o el egoismo puede con ellos... no sé, de todas formas que triste que quieras tantísimo a alguien para que luego te deje tirad@. Hermosisima temática... y la animacion es toda una belleza un artista... la dificultad de realizar esta animacion es suprema pero la creatividad para hacerla esta en su maxima potencia

Lo que intenta expresar es que "él" la idealiza y cuando finalmente consigue su amor y que adquiera su misma forma se decepciona y la abandona.
