This is Venom exactly like they should sound and look like when playing live :-) Not boring for one second, pure rawness and energy. Cronos is one of the most fascinating frontmen I have ever seen in music. I have been a big fan of Venom every day since i first discovered them back in 1987

As much as I like them, this is fucking terrible playing... And I'm sure some Venom fanboys are going to bash me for this, but I don't really care: as a Black Metal fan, I think Venom are actually quite lacking in talent and creativity, when compared to other forefathers of Black Metal. I find nothing particularly original about their sound, they are basically Motörhead with darker lyrics. Motörhead are fucking Metal giants, but what I mean is that Venom are overrated. Great attitude, though.

I can care less because if you truely do listen to black metal about 85 percent of the bands are far shittier than Venom. The only Black Metal artists that have better riffs and sounds than Venom are Immortal, Mayhem, Dark Funeral, Emperor, Bathory, Darkthrone, Absurd, and Melechesh. The rest of the Black Metal artists are even worse.

Man, Venom's first four albums are some of the best metal albums ever created, they, like Motorhead will always be underrated regardless of how much love and credit they get.

Venom had some of the catchiest riffs and songs that are still unmatched, anyone who argues against that sucks enormous amounts of donkey dong.

They pretty much lost it after Possessed, and Cronos is just fucking up Venom's name and legacy, though.

But hey, we still got four slabs of perfection.

And when I mentioned that they are overrated, I meant it as a general picture of Venom. There is no denying the importance of their earlier works, of course. But they're just not what they used to be.
