@Reigirl34: Well, actually The Darkness ain't supposed to scary...its not a horror game...its 1st person shooter with a dark theme. Games that intends to scare are: Silent Hill, Siren, Dead Space, Dead Rising, Condemned, Alone in the Dark...

This games seems great, never played it, but I want to. If you want to be scared, play DEAD SPACE alone, in the dark, volume high.

Nova, the Darkness bearer only dies if the woman is IMPREGNATED! If Jackie gets a gal pregnant, then he dies. Not if he just has sex. The comic books explain everything.

ive played this game frankly it rox it has a slightly cinematic fell to it and it IS kinda creepy but not enough to make you back away from your ps3 in horror in the second part oof the game (im not giving away any spoilers but if you play youll see what i mean) the crfeepy stuff starts to appear i havent finished the game but so far its awesome

It's not a horror story really. The Darkness is a pure primordial power that runs in his, Jackie's, blood line. It can do anything he wants it to do, look like anything he wants. In the comic he's out for revenge and to try and bring his mob family back together the way it should be. The game's plot is very different from what i've seen though.

Its not supposed to be a complete horror story(and yes you play as that guy(his name is Jackie Estacado) Its based on a very violent comic book of the same name. I have this game on pre-order for xbox 360 :P i have posted a video response aswell of another priview for it.
