  • 5:01 Priceless

  • Duke Nukem 64™

  • I can play this on a pc with a ps3 controller.

  • 0:37 what happened to

Damn, those alien bastards are gonna pay for shooting up my ride?

you can hear this on PC,PSX,Saturn, and Xbox 360.

  • your using an emulator. You haven't figured to set the numb stick yet to keys properly. That's why you walk away some times to get a shot. This is a slight faster than the original N64 version. Duke doesn't walk that fast in the original. You probably set you CPU as a re-compiler instead of a interpreter. Good video though:) I didn't know all of that:D

  • This is played using a real N64. I haven't emulated a game (outside of DOSBOX) for years. I think the latest console emulator I used was Connectix Virtual Game Station. And that's not compatible past Windows 98.I wouldn't even know how to emulate an N64 game.

  • @elbryan42 ill buy your n64 this video brought back good memories

  • @elbryan42 this version hurt my eyes after a while. the textures look good, but it's like someone smudged vaseline all over the screen. i understand it's low res, but whatever caused this fucked up what would've been a great port.

  • LOL YOU CAN COUNT ON NINTENDO TO SENSOR OUT WORDS LOL EXAMPLE: Damn those alien SCUM are gonna pay for shootin up my ride. scum is originally bastards

  • Nintendo didn't censor the game or force anyone to censor it. It was completely Eurocom's decision. It was an attempt to lower the ESRB rating to be able to sell the game to a larger audience. It didn't work though, as Duke's reputation seems to have made the effort pointless in the eyes of the ESRB.

  • @elbryan42 that is why everything was betteroff without esrb i think, you cant just sensor duke out like that and get away with it

  • @elbryan42 Its also nintendos decision.

  • How so? Conker also came out for the N64 with full swearing and plenty of naughty bits.

  • @elbryan42 People who made conker said they didnt what any sencership and if nintendo would do that they would change it to playstation or put it on the pc so nintendo finaly gave in and it was a great succes.

  • i remember playing this and i couldn't help but notice he stole a bunch of lines from movies like "HAIL TO THE KING BABY" is from "army of darkness" and "GROOVY" is from "evil dead 2" and "IT'S TIME TO KICK ASS AND CHEW BUBBLE GUM...AND I'M ALL OUTTA BUBBLE GUM" is from "they live"

  • Duke 64 sucks! Get a pc you fag!

  • @repload12 This comment is bad and you should feel bad.

  • When I play this game it gives me mind crushing headaches too bad i loved it back in the day.

  • give me duke nukem and goldeneye all day over modern warfare and battlefield. 90's FTW!!!!!!!

  • This game got me into loving co-op gaming! Oh so many memories :)

  • sunny outside

    it normally be dark

  • "damn those alien scum are gonna pay for shooting up my ride." what ever happen to the "alien bastards"?

  • @bobombstudios gottah love censorship

  • No tits? GTFO

  • Hollywoood? You mean Hollywood, right?

  • Hollywoood? You mean Hollywood, right?

  • 5:47 so thats how you get in there

  • Smash the hydrant and drink the water :D

  • Too many polygons... useless waste of computer power.

    does a 5850HD suffice?

  • I wonder why they used a grenade launcher instead of the RPG

  • @LegendaryKiller89 Grenade launcher was used in the 64 version, i prefer the launcher more anyway.

  • its funny how he doesn't say alien bastards, he says alien scum

  • duke 3d pussy edition

  • @nooblet911 Because, if there aren't naked women everywhere, it's the pussy edition. Nevermind the fact that the gore is 100% intact.

  • it's the pussy edition. deal with it.

  • @nooblet911 If that's what you consider the pussy edition. In one case, they censor nudity by turning women in bondage into women in bondage.... ripped apart and with their spines hanging out. Now that's irony. If it doesn't show women's pussy, it's THE pussy edition?

  • I can't believe people are still pissed about a handful of one liners and THREE levels out of the whole game. But alternate ammo types? New weapons? New areas to levels? 4-player split screen? I guess that stuff doesn't matter. That was sarcasm by the way. People need to get over it.

If you're going to say anything bad about this one it's not the censorship. It's the lack of music, mirrors or parallaxed skies. But those don't effect the gameplay, which is in a lot of ways the best of any Duke3D.

  • my post was sarcasm too.

  • @elbryan42 Atleast they censored it in 'believable' ways. They could've gone the NES route and done shit like replace beer bottles with soda bottles. Instead, they try to salvage it by just replacing the entire bar with a Duke Burger. Hell, a popular joke of irony is how they censored a nude woman hanging by chopping her up and having her spine hang out.

  • @elbryan42 Amen.

  • I found a copy of this game by my garbage can outside my apartment. Worth anything?

  • Are you able to look sideways and up and down in this game? I'm thinking of buying an n64 and want to know if you can aim or if it is like doom 2 and you can't look up and down.

  • Yes, you can look up and down.

  • holywoood? i think you need to remove one o

  • @Tojan360 And you need to add an l.

  • this game is fucking stupid

  • Doesn't this version have music?

  • Nope.

  • este juego era de preferido mios

  • reminds me of doom for some reason

  • PC version is 100 times better.

  • thumbs up if you are watching in 2011

  • @Jarad100 these comments just fucking suck. We know that we are watching in 2011. Why do u have to remind us? U just fucking suck and has not freaking life in any way

  • @Jarad100 No im watching this in 1974

  • @394mo I am watchin' this 100 years B.C.

  • @394mo iam wacthing this in 1998

  • LOL pause at exactly 3:07, and look at the monster.!

  • Censorship=fail

  • in a way this is a bit like duke 3d atomic edition

  • I honeslty enjoy this version

  • I see this version has more secrets then the other one

  • This looks very similar to Duke 3D. Are the maps the same?

  • @suspekt29

Yes, this is a Duke 3D conversion for Nintendo 64, only some 'adult content' is changed, for example in E1L2 the strip club is some burger place and porn shop is book store etc stuff, also the engine is a bit different.

  • @Zdem0Z Thanks :) I wish they came out with an updated Retro Duke pack. Can't run the old one because I don't have XP and it won't run on a 64 bit OS.

  • @suspekt29

I have Duke3d Atomic edition running on my 64-bit Windows 7. It's 32-bit conversion for XP (from isohunt), but it runs automatically because 64-bit Vista and Win7 have 32-bit emulator called WOW64 so you shouldn't have any problems with the game not running?

  • @Zdem0Z Thats not the one I have. I have Kill-A-Ton Collection. It wouldn't load for me. I have Duke 3D for my Mac. As far as N64 emulation goes, I haven't had much luck finding a stable release. There's always some degree of lag. This really is a great franchise. I just wish it was supported with the latest hardware.

  • If it wouldn't have been censored, it would have been the best port of Duke 3D ever with all its gameplay features and its graphics.

I still remember spending countless hours with my brother playing it in coop ^^

  • NOTHING BEATS A CLASSIC, 'NUFF SAID

  • This game may be censored, but the quality is above DN3D.

    6-26-11 240pm

  • 3:05 I piss on your shit!

  • BETTER THAN THE NEW GAME THATS FOR SURE

  • I love this game! :D

  • Eurocom must've been watching over Duke's shoulder in Forever, too, when he talks to the kid! "Take your pills... I mean Vitamins and you might grow up to be as awesome as me!" Eurocom must be the one thing Duke fears!

  • I present to u COD's father!! Nothing beats a classic!!

  • Why?

  • @elbryan42 don't worry about it, just some 10 year old black ops fanboy little prick

  • @elbryan42 Because

    A. The Vulgarity and even the word "damn" were removed completely.

    B. The difficulty is piss poor with horizontal only aiming.

    C. No music.

    IS THAT ENOUGH FOR YOU?!

  • How does vulgarity effect gameplay? As for the difficulty, it's no worse or better than the other versions. You can look up and down, I just don't do it (it uses constant lookspring like Turok which I'm not used to). Every Duke3D game has autoaim vertically, so where's the argument? As for no music, it does suck, but then again, how does that effect gameplay?

Yes, the game has its flaws, but it doesn't make it a bad game. They added tons of exclusive content, and 4 player splitscreen. Awesome.

  • @elbryan42 Umm... Vulgarity effects the humor of Duke3D. It just doesn't sound like Duke unless he says a curse word. And as for the ladies I miss the ladies. I also miss the Ripper and some others. There's no music... yah. No music makes it sound bland and boring. Music is a part of the soul, and if they don't have that... then Nintendo has no soul on music whatsoever. In Zelda maybe and some other stuff. But otherwise I think Duke3D with HRP beats Duke64. Oh, and WHERE CAN I FIND DUKE 3D?

  • @Masterlink981 You can find Duke Nukem 3D (Atomic Edition) at Good Old Games; just google "Good Old Games"...yes, it's legit, and cheap too.

  • @elbryan42 this is a doom ripoff

  • Actually it's a Midi Maze ripoff. :P

  • @elbryan42 heheheheh

  • @RyantheRookie how exactly is it a doom ripoff

  • @HalfricanItalian People used to say different 14 year ago.

  • @HalfricanItalian Go fuck yourself this game is awesome sauce!

  • @HalfricanItalian you are shit

  • @HalfricanItalian WoW you are shit .

  • @HalfricanItalian Maybe if you were around, that wouldn't be your opinion. :D

  • LOL, Duke takes "Vitamins" and doesn't say swear words like "Bastard"... good ol' Nintendo censorship.

  • Nintendo didn't censor the game. Eurocom did. Nintendo hasn't forced anyone to censor anything since before Mortal Kombat II came out. I'm sick and tired of explaining that.

  • @elbryan42 I'm sorry. I did not know. Sorry to be of trouble. I just randomly checked some Duke64 gameplay and that was my first reaction.

  • That's okay. Sorry if I sounded brash. It's been a long week in my personal life, and Nintendo censorship misconceptions just happens to be one of my biggest pet peeves. Enjoy the videos dude. :)

  • @elbryan42 Sure thing, man. I didn't know that after MK2 Nintendo was censorship-free, that's some cool trivia for me, thanks! Still own my SNES and MK1-2-3 :D I'll sub you now, your vids sure are interesting to me...

Wish I still got my N64, someone stole it when I was 15... Now I'm 27... Gotta start searching on Amazon or my local (finnish) site.. huuto dot net (huuto = bidding/shout, or something like that)... Cheers!

  • @elbryan42 Can you please source that? I got into an argument about this with someone, and the problem is, I'm too young to "know" anything. I need proof if I want to make a good argument. I didn't believe it was Nintendo's censorship either.

  • This game was the shit when it came out

  • @elbryan42 shut the fuck up!!!! We get your point, stop posting so many bloody comments.. Jesus christ

  • this game used to scare me

  • @pierceys234 yeah, i would always ask my brother to play with me that way i wont get scared, pretty much the thing that scared me was the noise they make.

  • @TacoItachi the noise and the skins

  • Man your aim is worse then a blind clowns! Learn to aim motherfucker! This shit made me mad. Loved this game, especially the first part at the theaters.

  • did this come out fter duke nukem 3d?

  • I liked 64 better than the 3d one :D it was all I would play when I was little

  • I dont know why people bitch about the other versions of this game like we're back in the days when these games were most relevant. If you didn't like this version go get the PC one for free right now and worry not. I swear it's like people hate on shit because they're fanboyism runs so deep. I like both.

  • Another butchered port. This game didn't like the Saturn and 64 didn't like Duke huh? I don't get the censorship especially when they could have had options to just get for older players. At least it looks like it plays alright.

  • Damn, the fov is crazy low.

  • No stripers, no swearing, no fun! Duke is an ADULT game.

  • Um, if that's why you're playing Duke, then you just don't get it. Like every good game, it's about GAMEPLAY. And Duke Nukem 64 added tons of improvements to make it more than just a port.

There's strippers and adult comment in what, three or four levels? That's it. And he says damn a few times, oh boy. There's plenty of game there besides the naughty bits. If that's all you play Duke Nukem 3D for, then there's no reason why you'd play past the first two levels.

  • @elbryan42 Not the point. I played DN3D on PC, and strippers, taunts and insults were part of the game's IDENTITY. Just like it was in Unreal tournament, then they removed it to make it LAN ready game, which was lame too. Duke without attitude is like beer without alcohol : useless and lame. Better play Blood then.

  • Both Blood and Duke are awesome games. Though Blood definitely improves on the formula. Seriously, how can you justify a game just out of mature content alone? Grow up man.

I've owned Duke Nukem 3D since the day it came out. And from the start I loved it because of the gameplay, interactivity and variety. Like I said before, if you play the game for the mature content, then most of the levels are completely bad in your opinion. Episode 2 has no mature content, as it takes place in space.

  • So my question is, why the heck do you play Duke Nukem 3D if it's just for the mature content? Most of the game isn't any more mature than any other FPS games at the time.

  • @elbryan42 Duh! That's what I'm saying. Remove the comedic part and it's not Duke anymore, just another good FPS, which is okay, but then why port it on the 64 when you have Quake or Turok 2 already? Oh yeah, some idiots will buy anything branded.

  • @elbryan42 YOU grow up dude. I'm talking about this freaking port that betrays the original game's spirit, that's all. I never said the game isn't any good, I said the PORT is lame. Stop thinking only in technical terms. Sure Duke isn't all about adult stuff, but that's what started its reputation. Then people were : "OMG, and it's good!"

  • The only port that kills Duke's spirit is the Saturn port. And that one has strippers. Duke Nukem 3D is about the scripting and interactivity, not the mature content. And the Saturn version simplifies the game to the point that it's just shooting. I couldn't care less if the game had mature content or not. As long as it's fun to play.

Whining about the exclusion of mature content is an insult to games and gamers.

  • @elbryan42 And supporting censorship is enforcing videogames ghettoization in a kid-teenage subculture. Way to go dude.

  • @elbryan42 Mmmmm, maybe I just hate unjustified censorship =p

  • I don't support censorship. I just play good games, no matter what.

And it wasn't unjustified. Eurocom (NOT Nintendo) censored the game in an attempt to get a lower rating to sell to a bigger audience on a family based console. Nothing wrong with that. It's all about money.

And as I said before, instead of stripping out the adult content, they replaced it. AND added a whole bunch of stuff in Duke Nukem 64 that's in no other version of the game. The new stuff is what makes it a great game.

  • @elbryan42 Stop using "family" as an excuse to prudify everything. I, among many, am getting sick of this downward spiral leading videogames to the Nintendog level. The world isn't Hollywood's backyard.

  • It's a fact that Nintendo systems are geared more towards the casual gamers and gamers of all ages. If a huge chunk of the Nintendo market is marketed towards kids, what's wrong with developers trying to sell to a greater part of the market? And FYI, Nintendo hasn't force censored anything since the ESRB system was put into place. It's been the developers and publishers' decision.

  • And I find the opposite true. Hollywood, music artists and developers try to make as mature of content as possible nowadays. I find that I feel guilty whenever I have the radio on at work (in a restaurant) and a family walks in with the swearing and sexual content in the music. Do people even care about who's listening? Let children have their innocence. They'll grow up when they grow up.

People care less and less about others. People have to actually stop and think about what they're doing.

  • I like Duke in all forms. It's a great franchise. I don't agree with censorship. but I don't agree with the general media trying to put as much mature content in their product because of a shallow audience that thinks that quality is playing what will raise eyebrows.

  • @elbryan42 You don't get the point, you don't want to. It's not about mature content or not, it's about censorship, disrespect for an original creation and generally a castration of leasure. But hey, if you like belonging to the emo castrated audience, be my guest. Tchüss.

  • And you don't get the point that it's still a great game regardless of whether it's censored or not. Standing up against censorship is one thing, but bashing a perfectly good game for that reason alone is another. Let people who like the game enjoy it.

  • Like I said, I don't agree with censorship, but I have the maturity to see that there's more to the game than strippers. And that on the truly awesome gameplay it makes it one of the best N64 games, period. If the game wasn't mature in the first place you wouldn't have a problem with it.

Ask yourself this. Back when Duke Nukem 3D came out, if it didn't have strippers and swearing would you have played it and liked it?

  • @elbryan42 What's wrong? I dunno, maybe that they edulcorate an adult game to sell it to kids instead of, you know, adding actual worth the fucking price. That's right, I said fucking, sue me.

  • This port is lame, period. Stop blaming people for trying it, because that's what you're doing.

  • And how is this port lame? It added much more exclusive content than they took out. Plus have alternate ammo types, new weapons, new graphics, and content from Atomic. Plus it had 4 player split screen.

The only problems I have with it is the lack of music and parallaxed skies, and I constant lookspring (which I can't get used to, but many N64 players did).

  • I still have no idea what Vitamin X does. ;-p

  • did anyone else like duke nukem:manhattan project???... i liked it

  • For a Nintendo 64 game.....

    this sucks balls.

Really falls short compared to other n64 games like goldeneye.

  • Finally a version that isn't recorded on a shitty emulator and actually runs smooth.

  • I have trouble with the grocery store. Particularly how to get in.

That is a grocery store, right? I mean... I found pretty much everything else, but this is something I've been having problems with.

  • I always shot the babes didn't even know you could save them haha -______-;;

  • this game was fucking amazing when i was a kid

  • Tooks like it plays like metroid prime.

  • I've played this game a lot when I was young, I don't see how it went from this masterpiece to cock of doody : boring warfare.

  • i hate the pigs

  • is that A Clockwork Orange poster in the cinema?

  • why ev eryone keeps saying this version sux, this version is horrible, we know is not as good as the original in pc, but this has Cons and pros, for example I like the remaping of some areas

  • Interesting to see this version. It has a few things that the other ones lacked (extra weapons, special shotgun ammo, the ability to rescue babes, etc).

  • this is better than shitty black ops

  • Duke Nukem for Game.Com = Greatest Version, only forward and backward movement w/ retro black and white FTW! Revolutionary gameplay!

  • my first fps game i loved it so much co-op fun!

  • i remember getting all stoned with my cousin and co oping the shit outta this game

  • best nintendo game Ive ever played. co-op was fun

  • this game is still fucking awesome

  • @TheLivingFreakshow i know right lol

  • OMG stop fucking hatin on this game for all you people sayin "this game is shit" and crap. I like to see you make an accurate port so stop hatin on it, it's you falt you bought the game and should blame yourself not the game.

  • @idfan3143 I know right? they just hate the game cuz they're bad players lol

  • @idfan3143 Yeah, our fault if that port sucks, if it's more self-censored than Hillary "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton, and if you're a dumbass.

  • @Captainumerica noone said said that i just said its there falt for playin it not makin it-_-

  • @idfan3143 It was censored, they changed the layout of the maps, it was twice as expensive as Duke 3D Atomic Edition on PC, it has no music in game, it replaced my favorite weapon (the minigun) with twin smgs... I could go on but you see my point.

  • @idfan3143 That being said, if you only had an N64 I imagine it was a eatly game (I'm not really here to troll, just watching to see the map layouts in this vs the original game since I'm writing an article on game censorship.)

  • @S0ryiu yea i do have one with this game and i freakin love it

  • Fucking noobs this game's great, and it was on the 64 - it wasn't capable of much back then.

  • this game sucks, you cant knife, and the guns dont have red dot sights

  • @ezillz I can't tell if you're serious or if you're trolling.

  • Was this any good?

  • @TheWCWite it was okey but the only thing that was fun is the multiplayer with the new gun "Plasma".

  • And the music?

  • looks better on 64 than the ps version.

  • DUDE UR E SO FUCKING BAD! LOL YOU HAVE NO ACCURACY!!!

  • I liked the fact that this version had a clockwork orange poster in that level.

  • Where is the kick ass music??

  • i kinda like alien scum the bastards

  • dude you missed like every secret

  • Hmmm... I don't have time to play with myself :)

  • wtf is this like the shitty clean version or some thing lol

  • does the n64 version handle like most FPS does these days on a dualshock controller ? free look and strife ? , the PC version controls sucked by default
