the beatles, john lennon (solo), michael jackson, chuck berry, fats domino, little richard and many more fantastic musicians couldn't outdo him.

without elvis popular music as we know it would not exist and there would never have been the afore mentioned great musicians.

he is THE KING OF MUSIC FACT!

@SMG: What showmanship, eh? I remember a journalist interviewing Elvis briefly long ago, and asking about his stage movements. Elvis said he just moves naturally to the way the music moves him. Now, THAT'S a natural showman. And those backing vocalists are incredible. A bit of Southern Gospel influence in their style, but it sounds phenomenal. I think I also heard one female soprano in the group as well.
