  • Thank you for this vídeo. I'm excited to make my own gift paper.

  • great idea..

  • Wow, we are so much alike! I love this idea! Excellent! I thought you were going to make paper out of shredded paper when you began.

  • I am going to make a video about that very soon!

  • DG- you are an inspiration!

  • Great idea. Very bright and pretty. Reminds me of pink ballerinas. Love and light for the holidays, Misty

  • You have presented an excellent idea. One that I know I will definitely use myself. I won't be using the iron because i happen to like the wrinkled look on the paper, to me it adds character. Besides I am sure this is more eco friendly than all of the ink and other chemiclas used to print on store bought paper. So, using the iron and dryer will not make a major impact on the deterrioraton of the environment, on the contrary. Exccellent tip and Thank You for presenting this idea.

  • @enirsha Yes! Exactly! The wrinkled look is great! I tried it both ways. I like the puckered look you get when you iron it when it's wet too. I don't iron all the paper nor do I use the dryer very often. I used it this time to hurry up so I could get the video done quicker. I'm glad you liked my idea! Thanks for watching. =D

  • I just posted this to my facebook! its Wonderful!!! I hope everyone does this... save trees and make smiles... Happy Hollys to U and yours //*u*\\

  • Thank you finnjolly! Glad U liked the video!

  • Yay! Dali! So fun! =)

  • I love how you outlined the blobs of color with black! Every Christmas and birthday, my family saves as most of the wrapping paper..including the tissue paper & bows..& re-use it the next time we need paper..usually for a smaller package. My husband's family did that when he was growing up & we have really small pieces of paper from way back when he was in college! I started saving one square of my favorites to put in a scrapbook so I could thumb through it & enjoy all those memories again.

  • What wonderful ideas! Thanks Donna!

  • Great idea and it turned out beautiful!

  • You are one amazing lady.

  • BEEEUTFUL! A tree saved.......I hope your family doesn't watch your videos till after Christmas!

  • Kim, I think that after you used the hairdryer and the iron you probably consumed more energy than it takes to print commercially. However the end product is so much better than the shop bought paper. It is truly a triumph of art over commercialism.

  • you rock Kim!

  • Oh, these look so sweet!

  • Pretty!!!!

  • thank you for keeping us encouraged and expanding our minds as usual sister. luv u

  • How unexpectedly good looking. I mean I expected it to look nice but those black lines really make it look awesome.

Somehow I'm reminded of Dexter, the blood spatter annalist. ;^)

  • HeHeHe. I LOVE DEXTER.

  • Love it!!

Thanks for another handy-dandy tip/how to...

  • Nice work!

  • I love what you did with the watercolor splashes! Why waste resources? For my bows I am making german stars out of strips of colorful magazing pages. Do a search for "origami german star" and there are lots of tutorials!

  • xmoonbloom, Thanks! I will.

  • Very nice and creative! Thank you!

  • Really wonderful! Thank you.

  • I am just plain broke, thanks for posting this Kim. I have a huge roll of white craft paper. This is a perfect project to do with the kids today! Thank you!!!!

  • Outstanding! More important than recycling is REUSING! I like to use the newsprint that I used as a backdrop for my spraypainting for stuff like this too.

  • Beautiful and resourceful! Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Great idea Kim. Thanks for showing to us:)
