  • any chance you could do a video about the pronunciation of N vs L? Or am I missing any videos you did previously on that?

Now I am recording how I pronounce need, lead, and lid, and I cannot hear the difference.

  • Nice song!

Shane, some natives say that in order to make R you should bend the opposite sides of your mouth in a U-shape. Some of them say exactly what you do. So where the hell do you really place your tongue so I could follow? Thanks.

  • @funfurfreak I finally uploaded a video ONLY concentrating on the "r". I hope you like it!! I got your "work out" video done, too^^

  • thank you!coach shane,i think you are doing a great job here, you are funny and being able to make watchers interested in improving their accent.most importantly, you are an real american who offers practical advices.

  • @maoisfn You are too kind! Thank you^^

  • .Yeah it was alright & cool ^_^

  • You make me smile and learn!!! :D

  • @theprogressivedaniel Perfect! A great combination^^

  • Neo's here~! I have a very simple question. "Thanks vs Thank you". I know more respective and formal way is "thank you". Is that all? Please also check out "ear vs year" video. I also left a question there. Speaking of "there". People say "in there" or "in here". I heard those are not right grammatically, but commonly they just say "in there" and "in here". Could you explain this?

  • I love it!!!!!This is what i was looking for~~~~~~

  • @nijijini Great! I'm very happy^^

  • Hahahahaha ... An awesome personality that you have .

  • @uhua20 Was my acting okay? My voices were not bad?!!!

  • Actually, Morpheus is the principal god of dreams in the Greek mythology, but yeah I have seen the movie :P. "r" sound is so hard to pronounce correctly.. I'll practice.. Anyway, thanks for the help!

  • @Morpheus371 Yes, the "r" sound is tough. What is your native-tongue? I teach in Korea, and the "r" sound is very difficult for them. Feel free to ask more "r" questions^^

  • i didnt know that 'there' and 'their' have actually the same pronounciation. your classes are so helpful.

  • @TheQueenviva Yes, absolutely the same. And do forget "they're". "they're" sounds like "there" most of the time--not all of the time, but MOST of the time^^
