  • I have it too. I have pain from something else and have to take anti-inflammatory meds and it went away. Before that I stopped doing anything at all apart from splashing my face with slightly warm water. I never put anything on my face. Ever.

    Love your attitude! :)

  • you are amazing!

  • (but i have acne, not rosacea)

  • i'm taking antibiotics ! i've tried so much else and nothing has worked, i've taken my medicination now for 1½ week and I already see difference... please don't talk bad about antibiotics...

  • I have found a really good cleanser for my rosacea is A-cute derm glycerin cleansing bar. It has no fragrance and is all natural. It is available online. Also hydrosols with chamomile, helichrysum, rose or neroli oils are excellent for toning down facial redness and help reduce thread veins.

  • antibiotics are NOT good for you... antibiotic=against life....

  • Courage to post yourself here like this! You still are really BEAUTIFUL :) Happy that you are healed now, greetings!

  • My rosacea disappeared after I got a shower filter that removed the chlorine from the water. I stopped using regular soap which has chemicals in it. Neutagena or other glycerin soaps are better. I also use Five Star shampoo from the Cal-Ben company. It's an all natural product without any chemical additives. I haven't had any skin flare ups for 10 years, since I made these changes.

  • U R still beautiful. I had rosacea for twenty years until I tried a natural cream called proskin rosacea. It is a natural cream by mama nature and it kills the demdex mites that cause it.It worked for me but it did make my pastules worse initially (this happens when the mites die) but then it gradually got better. I still have some open pores and scarring. Redness, pastules etc.gone. It was recommend to me on a rosacea forum. This cream is expensive but it is a miracle and is well worth trying.

  • You're still a lovely lady with a positive attitude. Things are going to go well for you.

  • You still look beautiful in the way that women generally do.

  • Guys she found a cure over 6 months ago...

  • @weightsification Rosecea is a chronic disease, there is no cure.

You can have long remissions and if lucky and find a good treatment it can help.

But there is as of now NO cure.

  • @Swecan76 I had IPL done 3 years ago and it hasn't returned thank god. I have to be careful not to drink alchool or spicy foods though.

  • @weightsification how do you know she found a cure? what's the link to the youtube video of the cure?

  • Try salt water with the same salinity of ocean water. Also seaweed on the face can work.

  • MINOCYCLINE..............................

  • do an apple fast. it should get rid of it

  • dont take anti-biotics unless your take probiotics after wards. this is really important. dont ignore this message trust me. you really need to listen

  • I'm so sorry omg..:(

  • Im 19 and im a male model, Please dont let that handicap you I promise you your beautiful.

  • I love your energy!! I also suffer from Rosacea. I was diagnosed 11/2010. I'm still learning how to deal with this. It has most certainly been a rude awakening that looks don't last forever. After that what's left?...

  • dont eat meat chicken fish eggs any animal product for 31 days end of story dont argue dont take no bullshit meds no supplements no creams ... how easy ?

  • xo! & huggz to you lady! blessings to you :0)

  • Xifaxan is sometimes used without as many side effects.

  • Careful with hot tea and coffie for the damp. No alcohol and warm and cold weather. Nowadays i use nannic. Amazing serum.

  • I have some redness on my face, nose, and forehead. I think it might be Rosacea but mine looks more milder then what you have. It sucks and I hope you find a good treatment for yours as I hope to for mine.

  • ive been trying apple cider vinegar. Having a skin disease is embarrassing and very hard to deal with. I have alot of skin problems. Good luck to us all.

  • @randyds5 can you share how you have been using the ASV?

  • @ronnyboy1988 actually, Ive starting using "Sea buckthorn oil" now. Its supposed to kill any mites or germs on your face. The acv is good, but you have to dilute it with water, or else your skin will be burned. I just used a q-tip or a cotton ball and gently applied it.

  • Your video was commendable, I have been suffering from rosacea for about a year now and never realized how difficult it would be to keep under control. I work as a chef so am constantly hot then cold from walk in fridges/ freezers, hot flushes due to my age, stressed all the time, I like my bottle of wine of an evening to chill out and love spicy food...............omg.....i'm going to need a new life style....

  • Turn to your liver for forgiveness.

  • Rosacea and Eczema new research show amazing results with CurePomade ( ultimate acne skin cream)

  • antibiotics WORK!!!!

  • yo creo que estas ermosa y tienes unos hojos presiosos ;)

  • Aww, my sweet. I had Rosacia as bad as you. I went and got IPL and it cleaned it up. Just for you I will show you my real skin without makeup. I sometimes use Elidel cream to control it. I actually went and learned to use the laser to help others after my positive experience.

  • Such an annoying condition! It's easy to see you are a very beautiful woman, but the rosacea gets in the way. I have been using Finacea cream with great success. I don't have any pustules anymore, and while I'm still slightly red it's very manageable.

  • My skin was already healing when I started this. I guess I’m just saying that I understand how those with rosacea feel, because I’ve for years suffered with severe acne, and the pain is unreal. I wish you all the best in your treatments!

  • It hurts a lot, because you have to go on with life outside the home, and people assume you have a contagious disease. For the first time, I used rice water and tree tea oil. I don’t believe the oil is good for rosacea, because of the many warnings of not using it on really sensitive skin.

  • For several years I’ve been dealing with body acne, with it being it’s most severe in my face. My problem started in my mid thirty’s. I’m now forty. I’m currently going thru another healing process after a few months of being totally unrecognizable.

  • Regardless of your skin condition you are absolutely gorgeous! Your hart shines through & i find you really beautiful!! Wish you love happiness & continued success.Thankyou for your wonderful & heartfelt video's much love, oxoxoxo Tony.

  • I have just been diagnosed with acne rosacea, it's been getting me down for weeks...I look dreadful.....nice to know you can have a sense of humour about it and share your rosacea with us...P.S. I'm a guy.

  • I used the law of attraction to give her this!

  • Lilou, try desintoxication with the Hopi people.

  • You're very pretty. I have mild rosacea, and I have found that mario badescu control cream helps tone it down. Currently I am taking lysine, vitamin C, B-complex, and a bioflavanoids. Hopefully I will see some results in the long run.

  • Lysine, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin B complex, a low carbohydrate diet, and try to reduce stress.

  • Hello.... just some advice.

Try echinacea tablets, lots of water, no alcohol, don't put anything on your skin to irritate it, try not to touch the skin (it increases circulation to the area that is rubbed), take a B complex vitamin daily (for stress), plenty of fruits and veggies (cucumber is good), avoid extremes of temperature (both hot and cold), limit tomato products or foods that heat the skin. You are beautiful... I agree with the comments on here. Try this for a while... can't hurt

  • Look into Raw food. Interview David Wolfe. It may work?

  • You will be fine, you are so up and funny

  • Try Tanda Light Therapy.

  • Remember, If you have Rosacea or not, You are always gorgeous!

  • Alcohol can cause rosacea as well.

  • @padude64 I don't think it causes it per se but I know when I drink my rosacea is horrible. My face gets so red like a tomato. It's awful and embarrassing. I'm not drinking anymore since I started treatment. It's not worth drinking and ruining my face for some booze.

  • Ive had rosacea my whole life and it really brings me down.I will never be seen without make up in front of anybody, and even with make up on it doesn't help much at all.People always ask if i'm too hot because of the color of my skin, and the rosacea on my arms is painful.During the summer i still wear something long sleeved so my arm doesn't bang of anything because its so painful. My friends ask questions too, they think i'm very insecure about it.I hope to get treatment when i'm old enough tho.

  • @RachaelRacooon imagine how us guys feel, no make up for us

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA..... Harry Potter is Funny, Sorry Got Stuck on Harrrrryyyyy......, FML!

  • wow. you are gorgeous!!!!:) God bless.

  • I've dealt with rosacea for years. Keep pressing on! BTW, your face is beautiful.

  • use metrogel its amiracle cream

  • i got rosacea but its not that bad as its slightly pink instead of red and no bumps. But it is very noticeable when im sitting under florescent lighting (or any bright light) in my college classes making me self conscious. My mother had it, sister has it, and so do i. Is it cureable if it is genetic?

  • @StoryEndsHere It is genetic, not curable, but if take care of it doesn't get too bad. My mother has it, and my great gran mother had it.

  • I am prone to eczema on my face & now I think I have mild rosacea.

Or either it's the new moisturizer I've been using that's causing the rosacea looking spots..

    I'm 14, and it sucks :(

  • have you tried having a dog lick your face? cats tongues are pretty good too

tempt them by applying tuna juice to the desired spot

  • Taking oxytetracyclin is the best thing i have done since having suffered from rosacea. I have suffered with rosacea on my cheeks (mainly left) since is was 21 and I'm now 28. Every day at about 2-3pm it would start bubbling up and it would really get me down. A food intolerance test worked for about 2 years. After the test I cut out a bunch of foods like milk and bread and within about 2 weeks it completely cleared up. Then 2 years later it all came back, and worse! Now I'm on antibiotics and

  • i also have rosacea. i just now found out that it´s rosacea. before i thought it was acne. I´m only 17 years old and i feel so embarassed about it. i can´t cover it up with make up either as it only makes it way worse. i feel ugly. when i look at you, you are beautiful. when i look at you, i think that yes you´re beautiful, who cares what your skin looks like?! why can´t i think and feel the same way about myself? i just want to feel beautiful again..

  • @caamillaa125 listen little sweetheart you are beautiful! i have mild acne and i never use makeup! i know that rosacea might be different from acne but it has something in common. we have it on our face, and sometimes i used to feel bad about myself, because i didn´t want anybody to look at my face with acne. but you know what i learn? that there´s always going to be somebody in a worst place than you. and remember that you are not the only one in the world with skin problems. :)

  • can it spread to other people sorry im 13 i have some one in my class who has this and im just wondering

  • wikipedia. has some good info. look under the heading Rosacea, and the heading 'Intestinal bacteria'

    I hope this helps.

  • you're a brave a beautiful female..i also have rosacea forlast 10 yrs...i have to prevent soo many types of food,it can b very demoralising when i am filled with pimples and rough skin. Have u tried apple cider vinegar..drinking and applying diluted version?Or evening primrose tablets?I think different things work different people,i wish there was a cure for this. There is a saying in Arabic 'The stomach is the house of all diseases' so it may be some digestive problem which may inc liver, spleen

  • My rosacea is so bad. My face is red and flakey, especially on my cheekbones, nose, and forehead. I want to buff the flakes off, but I'm afraid I'll really tick my skin off if I use a scrub. I'm so disgusted with myself! Does anyone else also get red on their chest and upper arms?

  • Try the Quinton sea water, originated and available in France. It has all the 86 minerals the body need in a perfect ratio. Don't get the Canadian version b/c they're fake. I tried it myself about 5 years ago and it healed my skin in less than a month.

  • Looks like the chemtrails may be affecting you.

  • Hi. I am Christian from Peru and today I've been diagnosed with rosacea (first degree, I mean soft and not agressive), I am little depressed I am taking doxiciclyne. How is your rosacea nowadays?. What worked for you?

    Peace

  • Rosacea is an allergic reaction. I get it too, when I eat or drink processed food. Have you tried cleaning your face with 70% alcohol, makes a big difference for me.

  • @TheoMessenger rosacea is not an allergic reaction, its a skin disease dumbass

  • Please try western medicine, please.

  • You are so open and honest. Thanks for sharing because it gives all of us women perspective about our own flaws and insecurities. You are beautiful with or without your little reddish marks.

  • Hello Dear Lilou, thanks to share your healing story.

I’m sure that's just the beginning of an incredible travel to real love.

I think you're looking for the Spiritual Essence that shines beyond personality, that's a very deep aspiration from your soul.

Your rosacea is maybe a path to go deeply in your spiritual search, beyond appearances, a way to feel unconditional love for yourself.

That’s the “secret key" for spiritual growth : to deeply fall in love with oneself.

    kisses from France

  • You are hilarious! And so authentic and real I applaud your geniuine commitment to truth that you unselfishly share with us online. Bravo!

  • Generous and humble of you to share this condition. I am wondering.....do you drink sodas?

  • Have you ever tried Arbonne skin care products? They work really well for rosacea. The products you use are SO important.. Find a *knowledgeable* Arbonne representatve who will work with you to get exactly the right products for you and hopefully give you samples to try. -- Your diet is SO important as well. Don't know if you have made changes in that arena -- highly recommend if you haven't. -- Good luck! Let me know if you want any help....

  • I would never have the courage to do this. So I have to stay you're very brave and I wish you luck dear. :)

  • My Dear Lilou,

YOU have courage like not many I know. The U-niverse sent you this experience for you to discover all that you can be in this predicament... • Hi beauty Queen, Yes you are beautiful!!! I found that when I had some issues I read a book called, You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. Just know that right now you are living a life in full health and wealth. Every cell in your body is healed.

  • @Lmechelleonpurpose YES I love that book!

Aww hope u get better quick Lilou! xxxx

  • and I was wondering if you had thought of the more sinister aspects of spirit channeling... Good luck and may I suggest staying clear of the title anti biotics, simply the medicine. For your good health, Cures

  • If you already see a measurable improvement fine. But did they took culture of the spots to match an antibiotic? Otherwise, it may not be as effective!

  • Raw food diet, you don't need antibiotics ;0)

check out rawfoodworld and theliferegenerator on youtube

    xoxo

  • Gosh, you are one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Above all what a soul, what a beautiful soul surrendering soul.

  • Lilou sending you good thoughts & love :) Take care :)

  • You are brave and beautiful! Have you read Dr. John Pagano's book, "Healing Psoriasis: The Natural Alternative"? It is based on the Edgar Cayce readings. I'm not sure - but it may work for Rosacea too. It's worth a try. Much love to you!

  • Lilou,

It is so important to do what you need to do that works for you and bless it with love. I tried alternative therapies, and use them WITH traditional western medicine. It is NOT a form of defeat, but rather one strategy among a wealth of choices. Not sure why alternative med peeps dis traditional meds. They are "both/ and" not "either /or" You will be blessed and happy to pair your positive intentions with the traditional therapies. xxoo

  • Don't be disappointed. There are good things with traditional medicine. May I recommed that you take a probiotic to keep the good bacteria in your system? You are marvelous inside and out!

  • I have Roseaca, have you tried a cleanse of candida?

  • I would like to introduce you to two french/english speakers who are also hypnotists who can help you, they are both female artists and I met them this weekend at a hypnotism seminar!

  • I honour your honesty, Lilou. You are a courageous woman, and your beauty is apparent, regardless of the condition of your skin.

  • regardless, you are beautiful!!! <3

  • Hope all goes well for you!

  • Love you too!!!

  • You are beautiful lilou, don't feel bad about taking medications...sometimes its the way things need to be. I know how hard it is to have a bad complexion we all want to look about best. It just makes you feel better.

    Hope your feeling better soon.

  • You are AMAZING! It is hard to decide to do something you don't want to do but I think it shows much strength on your part to try things this way.

  • LOL all is ok!! When u are in Chicago????

  • Humility, acceptance, and love. That's wonderful Lilou, wonderful.

  • Lilou, tu as essayé l' EFT ?

Egalement, pense à voir du côté des Fleurs de Bach.

  • traditional medicine might get rid of the symptoms but it will not fix the root-cause of the problem which starts in the mind. It necessary to heal the spirit first. Physical disease is manifestation of lack of Prana in the spiritual realm. Balance your chakras you must.

  • Maintein your hapiness, we love you too!

  • Hey. Lilou maybe try curezone.com. Great place something like a healing community. People share their self healing remedies

  • awww Lilou...I hope you feel better soon! You are still very beautiful girl!

  • Seems like you r eating or taking something that doesn't agree with your body.

  • i feel ur pain

  • Hey lilou don't know if you've heard of MMS, but do some research on it. That will kill any parasites, fungus, and bacteria (read candida) that may be dirtying your body from within and that are hard to kill. A lot of progress has been made with MMS used topically and internally for not only acne but much more serious illnesses. Youtube MMS and Jim Humble.

  • you are brave and strong , you inspire me and you always beutiful and i know your going to be just fine

  • You are beautiful inside and out. Stay positive, sending you lots of love and light. xx

  • ur beautiful no matter what ur skin looks like :)

  • I bow to the lesson you are saying "yes" to in regards to acceptance/humility. This is only preparation, a softening of the ego, a resurrection of true inner-beauty/power (which you carry abundantly already). You showing up revealed with no make-up and still fully present and connected to your generous heart is a sign of true, courageous leadership. Once the rosacea fades, the gems you extract from the experience will remain. I send blessings of ease and graceful healing your way. LOVEronica

  • You are so brave!

  • Stick with it... I feel it will be ok...

  • youre not aloneee! im passing throught something kinda alike. and its hard but yes, we are learning to be more humble and not to judge otherss as hard as we might have done it in the past

  • Hi Lilou, I don't know if you've tried this or not, but a friend of mine had severe rosacea and was only able to rid herself of it after eliminating all, or at least most, sources of sugar in her diet. I think it took about three months, but the rosacea cleared up after that. I think she was on antibiotics also, but they weren't working alone.

All the best to you, Lilou! I agree with those below, you are a beautiful brave soul!

    Love to you :)

  • good for you lilou sometimes you do have to step back and accept other alternatives that life gives you, much love.

  • Antibiotics should work as most cases appear to be caused by bacterial overgrowth.

    Stay positive

    :)

  • Drink Aloe Vera, it may help quite alot.

  • Lilou- get better soon. You still look beautiful. Keep us posted:-)

  • I love you Lilou!! You are wonderfull!! we are all one! Much Love, Namaste`
