  • the dynamics is a big part at the beginning of the song

  • this songs looks easy but once u actually play it its very complicated...... but not 4 french horns.... they pretty much have the same thing over and over

  • Well done! This is a rather complicated march. Now waiting for the Minnesota March....

  • Why the hell are they all slouching? They sound decent though. :)

  • Great Piece :)

Your band's dynamic contrast and ability is quite amazing compared to other bands i've heard play.

    GREAT!

  • Many thanks. We are coming over to New York in July and will include some of Sousa's marches in our programmes.

  • np :)

so is this just a small ensemble or are you a highschool ensemble?

  • We are a state run music centre in a small northern English town called Oldham. We draw players from a number of high schools.

  • Thats very cool. Much luck with your performances to come :D

  • look how uncordnated the trombone slides are at 1:00. Ha. This piece isn't that hard.

  • Theres more than one trombone part in this march you know 0_0 And the third one is a Bass trombone anyway so whats your problem??

  • just so yall know i played trombone...infact! I played this song!

  • dude there are several trombone parts on this song. Duh. Besides that they are playing F attachment trombones so that could be a reason for some of the change.

  • Posts about trombone slides are about as interesting as posts about bowing techniques for the strings. Any comments about what really matters - the music and the way it sounds? That's what the video is actually here for.
