Ingratiating means to seek approval or favor. As a mixed person I would understand where the President was coming from. Rev Wright happened to be right on target with the sermon that everyone blasted Obama over. I particularly like the part where he mentions how we obliterated Hiroshima and Nagasaki and never batted an eye. Preach on, brother.
