This is just Awesome! I'm positive that the Helicopter pilot you hear on the radio is my uncle, Noel "Hollywood" Campbell. Whether the radio calls match the flight footage I don't know. But my mother and I have listened to this over and over and my Uncle's voice jumps out and we both recognize it. This was his squadron. Amazing footage. I'm going to repost so family and friends get to see this. Thank you!!!!

The third book by Dan anyway is not out yet. We were co-writing it when he passed away this past September. I have just finished it and hope for its future.

Two of my HT 8 classmates were seawolves. (1968) Both were KIA. I survived flying helos. Now I'm an MD. I miss them both very much

No Jim was in Det7. Unfortunately he came back with PTSD. Had a heart attack 5 years ago. Watching this video is absolutely scary to me.
