  • I actually just say that episode last week. It floored me. John Cleese has a way of comporting himself that can't be duplicated by anyone in the comedy biz. Truly admirable.

  • Some of the funniest stuff ever!! Cleese is genius. my cousin Lauren and I used 2 watch this one and laff our asses off. We'd try to make up our own "Silly Walks". Didnt quite work out 4 us but good memories! thanx!

  • Yes, that's right. The laughter is irritating. There's one woman in the audience who has a really annoying laugh. But don't forget this is from the 1970s, an era when TV audiences just seemed to laugh at anything.

  • The hip replacement was a fairly recent thing, mainly due to old age. John Cleese did comment after the surgery that he'd never be able to the silly walk again.
